*I can cook almost anything from scratch
*Once upon a time I was an expert marksman in the USAF
*I am a sci-fi dork, and have read up on a lot of lore/mythology, so therefore I can be the Sam to your Dean...
*I am pretty handy at fixing stuff...
*With my theatre degree, I learned basic carpentry and welding skills.
*I can sew... on a machine and by hand.. so good with power or without!
*I can knit AND crochet (And latch-hook, but who needs an 80's decorative rug during an apocalypse?)

So, choose me for your apocalypse team! :D
Remind me to never get on your bad side, Bridget! :D

- I can imitate cat sounds. Mews, meows, yowling, even purring. Sometimes I'll make sounds at my kitten and she'll just stare at me and tilt her head. I'm probably insulting her.
That will be useful in the post-apocalypse when we will have to find creative means of warding off giant irradiated mice.

Copied and pasted from the other thread. This is my hidden (not so hidden anymore) survival skill should we ever be faced with something other than zombies: Giant irradiated mice.

My menial skills are just becoming more useful by the minute.

I'd tell you how the human race will survive the apocalypse and the aftermath, but that is classified information.

This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds.....

I'd probably be handy in the event of zombie apocalypse. I could get down there with a crowbar and shotgun, got the muscle to build fortifications, and smarts enough for some strategizing. I did the same quiz as Rachel, but I got Andrea as my match. Andrea really bugs me on the show, but she kind of does all those things I guess.

You're Andrea? Sigh. Take the test again and rig it. No one should have to be Andrea.

You see her as Maggie? Really? Her as Dale makes far more sense to me. Dale was philosophical, very watchful over the others, he always wanted to talk about everyone's problems, and he was the moral voice of the group. Maggie is rebellious, angry, closed off, and has some pretty big issues to deal with.

If we're going to discuss the Walking Dead, let's not reveal spoilers, yeah? Who knows who else watches the show and isn't caught up or hasn't become a fan yet. :D

DuchessAimee I am both honored and a little taken aback that you were able to analyze me so well. :P I mean that in a good way. I guess I'm not that hard to read on the internet. :)

Also, I'm thinking this might be useful, but only for a while:

If it's zombies we're talking about, then get a good sized group of people and provide them with full suit body armor. That way the zombies can't bite through and infect you. For ranged weapons, use bow and arrows as they are silent and the arrows can be reused many times. Also equip people with melee weapons like swords or axes that can also effectively eliminate a zombie. With a good sized group of people that can't get infected because of the armor they wear and weapons that can be used over and over again zombies won't be much of a problem.

The treadmill idea actually makes me think of something.

What if a Baggage claim style circular metal slanted thingy was placed around the house so that it fed into a Furnace? Eventually any Zombie would simply get on and ride it into the furnace.

Like one of these only Larger and steeper and faster.

Dale's just a whiny old man lol. He whines about what people are doing and thinking, he whines when someone wants to do something he doesn't like, he whines about how everyone is losing their humanity,.. he's sort of like that big RV...cranky, old and stubborn. I don't think you're anything like that.

Well thanks! I think I do have some of the qualities that DuchessAimee mentioned, though. Though I know perspectives on the same character can differ! :)

Funny side story: My sister and her friend were playing Nazi Zombies on the Xbox 360 one night, with all the lights out. I crawled on the floor, real quiet, and then grabbed my sister's ankle. Her and her friend freaked out and screamed. Her friend was a guy, and yes, he screamed too. It was great. :D

I'm a pretty good profiler. I was approached by the FBI to join their ranks, but I said no.
