So dangerous they have a vaccine for it.
So dangerous that the high risk strains cause cervical, anal, vuvlar, vagina, oral, throat cancer and possibly prostate cancer.

Do people really think a vaccine will stop God from showing us sexually immorality is wrong??

Do we get what we deserve if we or someone we slept with sleeps around?

God punishing us through this

Kim, I suggest you go to cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/risk/HPV. There is some very helpful info there. I'd post it here but its a very long article. :) There are two different types of HPV." Low-risk HPV's which do NOT cause cancer, but do cause skin warts on or around the genitals or anus. High-risk or oncogenic HPV's, which CAN cause cancer. At least a dozen high-risk HPV types have been identified. Two of these, HPV types 16 and 18, are responsible for the majority of HPV-caused cancers."

Please go to this website to finish reading the article. Now to try and answer your questions.

1.) Do people think a vaccine will stop God from showing us sexual immorality is wrong? I'm sure they dont. The vaccine is purely to guard against the HPV. To COMPLETELY guard against it, people need to be responsible and use adequate protection when engaging in sexual acts. Total abstinence works good too. :)

2.) Do we get what we deserve if we or someone we slept with sleeps around? Absolutely not!! God does'nt give us diseases as a punishment for someone elses ignorance, nor our own either. If your partner is irresponsible with his/her sex habits, then you might want to rethink having a sexual relationship with that person. You dont know where, what, or who he's been doing. People need to be proactive and protect themselves, because their partner might not.

3.) Is God punishing us through this? I dont believe so. It depends on how irresponsible or responsible we are, whether we get STD's or not. If we meet someone, we should ask them to have a blood test done first so we know whether they are clean, or if they have a disease. If it turns out they do have something, it would be an excellent idea to not even be with that person sexually EVER. If you forget to use protection even just once, you WILL get their disease!!

The punishment for our sexual immorality is far deeper than any of these cancers. God's will for every one of us is for every kind of goodness for us, this immorality brings on our eternal death. In this life it brings the way God planned family for all of us to end. It means that many, many marriages are not ones that are as God designed marriage for us, and the family unit is broken. Those things are of the devil, not of God. Sexual immorality opens the door to them in our lives, and brings on a society that the most innocent has to live in, a society with pain in it.

If man can help themselves in any way, God who helps us achieve His will for us, will want this for us.
