Human Role in Sanctification

You cannot have your cake (to look at and admire) and eat it too. You are either under the whole law of Moses, or you are not under any part of the law of Moses. You have no authorization to pick and choose which parts of it you want and don't want to follow.

Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them. And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ Deuteronomy 27:26

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written: Everyone who does not continue doing everything written in the book of the law is cursed. Galatians 3:10​

So either the whole law of Moses is fully in force, or it has been fully abrogated. And if it has been fully abrogated, then all things truly have been fulfilled.

For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are fulfilled. Matthew 5:18

And [Jesus] said to [his disciples], These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled. Luke 24:44​

We have already seen that a major commandment has been done away with (not just a letter or stroke of a letter):

The flesh of his foreskin must be circumcised on the eighth day. Leviticus 12:3​

Therefore, all things as pertaining to the law have been fulfilled in Christ.

Do these laws apply for christians today Why or why not ?



LEviticus 18
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

Isdaniel what is the difference between our situation and the people in the Old Testament? Do we have a HELPER to keep us in line, and did they have a HELPER? Do you know who the HELPER is?

Was God in the Form of Jesus tempted for them as assistent or a succourer to keep them out of sin? Nope Jesus was not tempted until that fast in the desert.... So we have a MASSIVE advantage to them... Jesus is our SUCCOURER... a person that will make sure of something is a secour to the people he makes it sure off....

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jesus is the Lord that makes sure we do not sin, the one that CAUSE us to walk is God's statutes.... To casue is to make it happen.... WOW!
