To those of you who have been left (willingly as in a seperation or divorce) by your partner (husband or wife).
How long does it take, to not hurt anymore ?
how long does it take untill one stops to hope ?

Perhaps it's the same as when someone dies.....it takes a very long time. But time heals everything.

I want you to never stop hoping. But with hoping, remember to not stop living. Live your life, talk to God and pray. He will give you hope. Actually Christ has given us all hope to love again and to be loved.

Hope that helps. God Bless

They say it takes one month for every year you were together to get over it, but that is at best a ball park figure. I know it is really hard to change how you feel, but try to keep your eyes on Jesus and don't do a Peter and focus in on the waves. If we try to see things like Jesus does and look toward how He loves us and offers us hope no matter what the circumstance is, it will get better.

Sorry things turned out the way the did, but even thru this, God has a plan for you.

Hang in there! Time does heal the wounds. Keeping yourself busy it can help. Perhaps join a new church group or volunteer or do a new sport. You will no doubt find others in the exact same boat. Just remember Jesus loves you and knows how you feel.
