Boyfriend of two years and I just broke up. We're supposed to be taking a break but I am unsure if I want him back. In love for sure, but frustrated with the same routine. I'm only 20, but we were planning on getting married and moving to Germany next year. He's military. I could use encouragement and a few good friends right now. Feel free to ask questions.
 
I'm sorry to hear that. These things are rough.

Are you praying about it? I know some female friends would be better, but I offer you my friendship, as it is, if you would like.
 
Would you mind telling me what the problem seems to be in the relationship? You said "same old routine," could you elaborate?

A friend of mine went through something similar, took a break in a two year relationship and decided to end it. Her reasons were that she found out that she didn't think she loved him and wanted to try out other people before settling down.
 
keep ya head up! Sometimes a relationship feels right, when its not. There was a girl that I thought I truly loved for several years. We did everything together, but I finally sat down and had a talk with her about my intentions and hers. We were on opposite pages of two different books so to speak. Point is, you can think something is right, when its not. Just realize, that if it is to be, God will ordain it. God has a plan for you and for him. Whether its along the same path or not, you'll have to look to God for that answer.

All that deep stuff aside, I don't know ya, but I've got your back. Stay strong sista!
 
this is a big commitment to get married a move to another country so I say you need to pray about what the Lord wants in your life because if you are upset now about being things the things of marriage might crush you I say use this time to grow in your boy friend before you get married if you can over come this it will be a first step in over coming things because no mariage is perfect so sometimes it might be hard this is because we are sinners so we need to rely on God to be there for us
