You said that you use chat sites to send naked pictures of yourself to men, and you can't stop. Since our site is a chat site, I simply asked you "should we ban you from this chat site"? [How was that "judging" you?] In other words, are you doing that, or will you do that, here on our site? If you're really seeking help, then have a little more humility and understand the danger that you pose to Christians when you "can't stop" sending naked pictures of yourself to men in a chat room, and don't blame us for being concerned about the other 99.9% of people here, and wanting to help them as well as you. And if you "can't stop" doing something in a chat room, then being banned from it may be the best "help" they can give you. But I know that anyone who believes in Jesus can refrain from taking naked pictures of themself and preying on men and sending that stuff to them. We have righteousness by faith. And Jesus said if something causes you to stumble, cut it out. Cut out the naked pictures from your computer first of all, and cut out chat rooms if you need to (and we'll cut you out if we need to), and cut out your internet if you need to. But I think that a close relationship with the Lord is the real answer. Read your Bible. Seek Him daily. Get local (in person) fellowship. And don't blame a Christian chat room for removing people who can't stop sending naked pictures of themselves to other innocent people who are seeking a safe place to fellowship.

SammyAlice here is the best help that I/we can give.

First of all, maybe you haven't truly been born again by the spirit of God? (That's not judging you by the way, that's trying to help you.) There was sin in my life that I could not stop until I was born again.

Or if you have been born again, still the answer -- the first step -- is really the same:

Repent.

This was the message of Jesus, what he preached from the beginning. It's also the message of the whole Bible. Repent. That doesn't mean "stop" -- I understand sometimes we can't stop by our own power. But it means that you truly WANT to stop; it means that you're truly sorry in the sense that you absolutely don't want to continue that sin. (And then He'll clean you up -- guaranteed.)

When you truly repent, it should be done with entire faith in Jesus, and only Him, as the one and only saviour of the world, the Son of God who was given as a sacrifice for your sin, the one who took the punishment for you.

If you truly believe in Jesus, and truly repent of all your sin, then God will do two things:

#1 He'll forgive you for all your sin

#2 He'll change you -- and give you power over the sin (that's part of being "born again")

Anyway even if you've experienced God before but are backslidden, the answer is the same. Have true faith in Jesus and repent. He'll give you power over sexual sin. You may have temptation but you'll have the power to say no to it. It may also help to take practical steps to remove temptations. Part of your daily prayer should be "Lord lead us/me not into temptation". So you certainly shouldn't do anything to lead yourself into temptation. And Jesus said if something causes you to stumble, cut it out. If your hand causes you to fall into sin, cut it off. I think the application is obvious. No, not your genitals, but whatever online activities/sites/whatever you need to avoid in order to avoid temptation, if need be. Also you need to continue to seek Him daily and you definitely need encouragement and fellowship with other Christians around you (seek it out), as well as online (if you can be online without sinning and pulling others into sin).

No I use adult sex sites. Iv joined this site to find help from other Christians who have had the same problem
 
I'm sorry, but that is completely false! It's the mans responsibility to keep his pants on and his eyes and mind on his wife and honoring the Lord. A woman could be completely inexperienced, horrible, etc at physical intimacy with her husband but that doesnt make it her fault of her husband strays. While it's a strong temptation it's the individuals responsibility to take charge in overcoming it.

I don't like the way any of this feels. The original poster never revisited (well, in type) and the thread continued with others addressing a specific plea. Within that "plea" exists real hurts, frustrations, and a very REAL sin.

The subsequent responses were, as you usually find, prayer-filled posts of concern. Then, suddenly, this thread turned into a grossly negligent hijacking situation. The end result of course is now something quite different, which essentially has nothing to do with the original poster's plea.

So, can we suggest that either the thread be locked, erased, or...if sammyalice wants to start her own thread, let that be the next step. Otherwise the whole situation feels somewhat deceptive, and I don't want to assume that "goodthingswillcome" is actually fictitious, or sammyalice. Or worse, that we've polluted a genuine call for help from someone hurting.
