I´ll worship God when life is hard
I will give Him my best offering.
I´ll worship God when life is hard
I will give Him my best praise.
Even though everything is crumbling down
I will worship the name of God.

I´ll worship God when life is hard
even if I my mouth does not want to.
I´ll worship God when life is hard
even if I don´t feel like it.

Shall I receive good at the hand of God
and shall not receive evil?
Shall I side with God when things go well
and discard Him when things go badly?

Shall I praise God when I get good things
and discard him when I do not get what I wanted?
Shall I boast in God when success comes
and discard Him when failure knocks at my door?

I´ll worship God when life is hard
even though chaos revolves around me.
I´ll worship God when life is hard
even though insults come my way.
I´ll worship God when life is hard
even though depression hits home.
I will worship the name of God.
