welll yessss! im happy, its like ive been single for more than a year, eventho sometimes i can feel lil bit lonely or etc, im happy bc 1st. i can spend my time more for God, family and friends, and 2nd i can concentrate more for my education ;) . being single isnt always bad, is pretty good tho :)

Yes, you can, milady, and, scripture states this too, while single you are bound to no one but when married 'your desire' is for your other. Therefore, in singleness, you can accomplish a lot more of different things than if your desire was for your spouse. Not saying one or the other is better, just saying :D

I am happy single too, content, rather, I know that the Lord knew what was best for me since the day I was born, and, who am I to think I know better than He who made me what is best for me :)

Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I like the next two verses after this one to put God's follow-through for that He knows not JUST the plans He has for us, but the way to have those plans succeed. :)

29:12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart .

Speaking of 'succeed,' I am content, and, often go to this verse in Philipians for understanding of my happy contentedness being single :)

Phil: 4:12 -" I know how to be abased (degraded) and to abound (filled). Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungary (be content whether fed well or starving), both to abound and to suffer need. "

4:12 speaks of contentment no matter what is your situation. To always smile with the spirit of God in you :) OH, how a good God guy will LOVE that trait of you, miladies, too !!! OH, wait, sorry, we are happy being single aren't we :D

4:13 is next and it just so happens to be my class verse from high school that I put along with my profile in my annual my senior year.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. "

Amen ! Hallelujah. All things through Christ and your life will be full, so will your joy, singleness, marriedness, divorcedness, separatedness. It just doesn't matter. :)
 
I'm happy single or not. :) Our happiness can never hinge upon another human being. Too many people never learn this and hop from mate to mate in search of the person who will make them happy.
 
Yes.

No further obligations. Greater choice.

I'd still trade it in a heart beat for true romance.
 
Ii am happy single for now, I am not ready to settle down and have kids yet but I do want to do that at some point so I would like to be less single in the middle future lol!

Yeah. A relationship is a rollercoaster. It'll make you very happy sometimes and very sad at other times. Oddly enough, though, God said that it was not good for Adam to be alone - even when he had God at the time. So part of me has to wonder at how complete we are without another human being by our side.

Anyway, I was happy single until I met someone I really admired. Now I'm just trying to keep my distance from her because the relationship isn't going to work.
