I want to thank all of you. You're right, the idiot really isn't interested. He really doesn't know what he will miss.I think it is time I got to busy for him.Do any of you think a guy 5 and a hafl years younger than me is to young for me?By the way, this guy is the other guys best friend.Would this be inappropriate?

Good Morning there is no doubt this guy is sending mixed messages. The mystery is why is he sending them. At times he seems as though he is enjoying your company and then there are the times he indicates he needs space from you. As a guy I can tell you society sometimes makes us adhere to strange social rituals and games to capture the attention of someone who we are interested in. For example: if you show her you are not this interested she will like you more. If he really does like you the key to clarity is trust. He needs to know that if he does relax his guards you are not going to make a u-turn on your interest of him. Then there is the reality that he just may be playing games and only likes you when he wants to like you.

Speaking of not understanding guys, I've got one - I broke up with my boyfriend just over 3 months ago. We haven't spoken in any way since then. Then out of the blue, he called me a couple of days ago and left a message that he just wanted to see what I was up to and hopes to talk to me soon.

Should I just take this at face value? Thoughts?

If this guy and the new guy both knows that you were interested in him.. this is a recipe for disaster. If you and the original guy are friends nothing good can come of this and what do you think his friend would think of you deep down inside.

If you and he were friends prior to the relationship you should take it at face value.
