Sad that I see people of God making decisions that affect their lives with the walk of God. Instead of choosing to live with and by God, they choose to live by what they feel like it's from "God."
They pick their feelings over what the Lord has spoken in their lives. When the holy Spirit move within them, they deny him by choosing a different method that is more easy on their life instead of being filled with the things of God.
Listen to me church. You can't pick and choose what you think you need and what you think you know. It's about following the holy Spirit and what he has already said in your life. If God spoke to your life to stay at a certain church, and the church has hurt you, condemn you. That church is just for you. Because the Lord SPOKE TO YOU about attending that church for a very reason. He KNEW exactly what he was doing when He called you to that condemning church. He KNEW exactly what He wanted for your life. You either get on board with what God says, or you get off board finding a more "comfortable and loving" church to fit your needs.
You have to have faith in what he spoke in your life. Even in worship songs. If God is moving in loving songs, songs that you aren't comfortable with, songs that you aren't use too, it doesn't mean it's not from the Lord. It just means there's something in you that needs changing. Instead of being so quick to change the channel or quick to change what you're listening too. Stay tuned and wait for the holy Spirit if He has anything to say.
Who am I to even speak this? I am a man who was 17 years old when I just left my home, told my parents that God is calling me, and I walked out of my house. I had no job, no college degree, I had nothing in my life. I just knew what I wanted, I wanted Christ. I had no idea where I was going, what I was doing, and I thought I would be homeless. As I walk pondering where God would be and what he wants from me. He spoke me quietly and pointed me into a church direction that I never knew existed.
I spent 5-8 years at this church, serving Christ in hardship, dealing with persecution within the church. My own brothers and sisters in Christ would persecute me, down me, and even my pastors who were above me made me feel as I was useless and worthless. My job was to clean the bathroom because they figure that is all I was good for. I spent my life serving the Lord at this place with no type of income, and running my youth pastor lawn care business. Never in my life I thought this is what it means to serve Christ. Not in a million years would I have thought this was how you serve Christ. I thought serving Christ would mean spreading the Gospel, and preaching on stage, helping others.
After my time was up, I understood what the Lord wanted from me. He brought me into this place to train me, to teach me the value of life, and what it means to serve Christ under hardship. I learn many things that even if I was to spend typing it up, it'll take my months before completing. As a Christian, what I've learn in 1-2 years, would take a normal Christian 20 years to accomplish and learn in life. I was spit upon, laugh at, mocked, threatened, and hated. But I was loved dearly by my Father, the lover.
You see, sometimes God will have you go through things in life, just so he can prepare you for your future. Why would he give you your calling in life, if you aren't ready to handle it, and you'll faint before you can even be responsible enough to take on the task he has giving you? Child of God you have to learn to love your struggles in life that will mold you and change you into the image of Christ. Learn to accept correction, learn to love the hardship you have to endure. Because yours in the kingdom of Heaven. (Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.)
