Another amazing point is that God is the same from yesterday, today, and forever. So he is the same from Adam and Eve in the Garden as he is today and later on down the road. That is a exciting.

The theme of amazement was actually discussed in my bible study class recently. Being amazed by something, being in "awe" of something, being awestruck.
There's two kinds of amazement we experience:
1. Amazement that causes excitement (perhaps a beautiful nature construct, a forest, a skyline, a animal, etc)
2. Amazement that causes fear (untamed nature, perhaps, that causes destruction, etc)
So, what are we really talking about? It's God. God is awe inspiring. God is amazing, God's wisdom is amazing, God's judgment is amazing, God's grace is amazing.
The answer is always going to be God. We should never lose that sense of wonder at the cross. That idea that familiarity breeds contempt is something we should always be on guard against. We must always approach Jesus with a new sense of wonder every day.

I look at my dog and wonder at how amazing God's creations are. I may be a tad biased, but I believe God put extra time into my fur-baby.
I find it amazing that my cat has killer instincts for the red dot, yet when it comes to killing bugs, that instinct flies out the window..

those of us who have been born again (the second birth) are now living unto eternal life.
Meaning, through this second birth and it's clothing of Christ's righteousness, we will not feel the sting of physical death and will wondrously be transformed and effortlessly step into our heavenly bodies at God's appointed time.
