Hey everyone.
Hope you all are doing well and are safe in the Hands of God ..
I contemplated a bit on whether I wanted to share such a story here but I have found that other than Christians, I really won't be able to share this with anyone else.
Like the title says - I had an encounter with an angel. Yes, I am positively 100% sure I did but to others, especially those who disapprove of all religion this would be ridiculous.
Hence, this is the reason I did not share this with a majority of my friends but only to my family and Christian friends.
This is just too cool not to do so here. Hope it encourages some of you!
I find myself constrained about explaining what happened without going into specifics of my personal life.
I've been very busy involved in some really exciting projects, thanks to God's grace and I was asked to do a very difficult and highly complex task.
I was stumped because I had very little experience in the platform I was working and to be fair I was very new to the job. However I did not want to be unable to do this, so I prayed.
I prayed - "God please sit next to me and help me finish this task. I just can't do it without you and please let me finish this work by today."
So I worked and I struggled.
Oh how much I struggled! I was close to tears and I remember calling up everyone I loved just telling them how much I was struggling and their kindness and gentle encouragement helped me survive.
By the end of the day, I did manage to accomplish what I had done. I was relieved.
Within the next few days though, my manager got an experienced person to have a look at what I did because they realized that my task was too complex.
The experienced guy looked at my work and even commented that I had done an additional feature that I certainly did not recollect doing.
I was stunned. When did I do that? As I looked over my work I was amazed to find so many unfamiliar things that I certainly did not know how to do.
To my atheist friends when I mention what I had done and how I give credit to God, they are incredulous and say that it was me.
However I KNOW for sure what I did and what I did not do.
What I was seeing was definitely not my work.
I am convinced that God sent an angel to fix all my crappy work. The best part of it all? My work is now the centerpiece of our project and it is so critical that everyone depends on it.
If my work fails, everyone else's fails.
I got the opportunity and the experience of doing this all thanks to God.
Nothing is impossible with God. I believe it.
No matter what the struggle has been, just knowing that God is watching over me and He is beside me has me walking on clouds.
It is like having a taste of heaven... And all of us are not without help.
It is easy to say that times are not like what they were in the Bible but we are told that people have welcomed angels in the guise of strangers into their homes.
This world is not just the physical but so much more.
Yes, we get hurt and yes we struggle and fall down but there is another world waiting for us prepared by God.
Nothing is too big or even too small for Him to accomplish. This miracle is just one... there have been tons more for me and I am just so grateful.
I am learning to hear and find God even if just a whisper.
God is so good...
Please share if you too went through something just as amazing and just as wonderful. Lets all give glory to God!
Thank you and God bless you all.
With Love,
Rachel
