I hate waiting!

I admit I pass up really sweet Christian girls all the time (even though I'd love to date a believer for a change). Some of them are knockouts and are just waiting for someone to come along and ask them. I just flat out won't ask them out at all because I have zero interest in Marriage or Children....I just like to date. I don't wanna waste a good woman's time when I know she's ultimately looking to be a mother/wife one day. Guess it could be that the guys at your Church aren't ready to settle down either.

I think I see what your saying donkey ( do you have a name cause I keep wanting to call you jack lol) but I don't want to presume I know , would you mind sharing your view?
I'm just curious and not looking to attack like planet of the apes or anything ..
what I see in singleness is , we leave our hands open to God, giving" Him " free will to bring in and take out in our lives As He pleases not as we please..s :)
 
I'm kinda in that same boat most guys want kids and I'm like nope I bought a house a few years back I have a great job,dog, and find myself content I like the idea of having company from time to time. but weddings petrify me and I don't have the desire to help raise someone else's kids

So how do you go about it , check for mutual interest in that area and how do you keep from getting snagged in the process ?

lol, my real name is Ryan. That's a good view, letting God lead in anything is always a good idea. My thinking on marriage though, is it's a choice (so is loving someone)...I don't believe in "the one" stuff. I've been in love with 4 or 5 different people and I'm still a relatively young guy. If someone wants to get married I don't see why they just don't pair up with another believer they are attracted to that wants to get married. Wala. lol. Marriage is hard no matter who you marry but I think if two people are committed to building something that they can do it. Especially two believers. I just don't get the waiting around part of it, I've always thought that if you wanted something you had to actively pursue it.

lol, I'm glad someone else gets it. I rarely come across a woman who doesn't want kids. It's nice to see there's still some left :P
 
I agree with you, I think sometimes god is working out the flow in poeple .. What isn't worked out cant flow out .. So I think people have the desire maybe just not the flow yet .. I say that because I use to be that way .. Now I'm like "EH, either way is okay with me". It's a persuant issue too I think, could come from the " I have everything else at my fingertips" world we live in , it should be that way with this too mentality going on .. Now if someone came along and said hey we can work this out , this is what I would like to see happen and perhAps lay a blueprint out .An idea fir a plan. Maybe the navigation process would be eisier .. a rudder on passing ships dont know where to go without a wheel

I think you misinterpret fear for "They just don't see it as desirable or beneficial". Why pursue someone that wants to get married and have kids if you don't want to do either? I wouldn't imagine that many Christian guys would be thinking like that but what other explanation is there?

lol. I'll quit calling you Pow then :P. Na, we never bash in the singles forum....at least I never seen it. That's why I like it here. I'm not really speaking for other Christian guys, it's just my viewpoint. Most Christian guys I actually talk to (which isn't many unfortunately) really want a wife. I honestly don't know what to make about leelee's issue at her Church. lol, I hope there isn't that many "Me's" out there
 
they are my shetland ponies, well some of them. I breed shetlands when I am not nursing and working with kids lol. I also breed shetland sheep and shetland geese and shetland chickens
