The same Bible that teaches headship also commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it (Ephesians 5:25).
So if a book led you to believe that women are somehow less valuable, less human, or less precious before God, that idea is not found in the biblical teaching that both male and female bear God's image and can equally receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
