It will be impossible for a person who has not been granted Righteousness to see the "fruits of the spirit." Why? Because according to Ephesians 5:9, the "fruits of the spirit" are located in three areas; goodness, Righteousness, and truth.
The fruit of the spirit is a testimony to all men.

I saw the fruit you produce. You verbally assailed man for saying his faith is in Jesus and what Jesus did and what Jesus does. Because he renounced faith in himself and placed that faith in Jesus.

what you produced in this conversation is clear.
Basically you rebuked the man for having his faith in Christ alone.

And then justified yourself when called to correction by not only myself but someone else as well.

I believe that you need to repent.

Anyone that places their faith in Christ alone and not Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary's Cross is believing in another Jesus that is not in the Bible.

“18 For the preaching (Message) of the Cross is to them who perish foolishness (Spiritual things cannot be discerned by unredeemed people, but that doesn’t matter; the Cross must be preached just the same, even as we shall see); but unto us who are Saved it is the Power of God. (The Cross is the Power of God simply because it was there that the total sin debt was paid, giving the Holy Spirit, in Whom the Power resides, latitude to work mightily within our lives.) 1 Cor. 1:18

The only way to God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6)...the only way to Jesus Christ is by the Means of the Cross (Luke 14:27). The only way to the Cross is a denial of self (Luke 9:23). If any person tries to come any other way, Jesus says, "they are a thief and a robber" (John 10:1).
  1. Jesus Christ is the source of all blessings.
  2. The Cross is the means by which all blessings are given.
  3. The object of our faith must be Christ and the Cross.
  4. That being done, the Holy Spirit will greatly help us.

If we preach Jesus alone and ignore the Cross, that is another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4). This is sin, a insult to God!

To any readers: the above post contains Scripture, but the message is NOT consistent with Scripture.

Are you trying to delineate some kind of difference between Jesus and his work and his word?

You don't have one with out the other.

If your faith is in Christ that includes all his works and his words including his death burial and Resurrection.

If the Christian is mature, when they say Jesus, we know they are including the Cross of Calvary, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. However, most are carnal. If you tell them their Faith must be placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, that's when the problem comes in. Most are enemies of the Cross. Phil. 3:18-19

That clearly explains why you are constantly talking about Christ and the cross. Thanks for the heads-up.

Your Word for Today

“therefore being justified by Faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1).

What did Paul mean when he said, “We are justified by Faith”?

First of all, we must look at Faith. The definition of Faith is to simply believe something. In this case, it refers to having Faith in Christ and what Christ has done for us at the Cross. The Faith of which Paul speaks always must be in this capacity. We must ever understand that Christ is the Source, and the Cross is the means. In no way is Christ to be separated from the Cross, or the Cross separated from Christ.

That’s the reason the Apostle said, “We preach Christ Crucified” (I Cor. 1:23).

Paul wasn’t meaning that Christ is still on a Cross; in fact, Christ is seated by the Right Hand of the Father, meaning that His task of Redemption is complete (Heb. 1:3). Instead, Paul is speaking of the benefits of the Cross, benefits, incidentally, which will never, never end. For this reason, the Holy Spirit through Paul referred to these benefits as “The Everlasting Covenant” (Heb. 13:20).

The Believer must understand that every single thing we receive from the Lord, and in every capacity, is made possible solely by the Cross. That is the Gospel. The story of the Bible is the story of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, and the story of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified is the story of the Bible.

Once Faith is properly understood and established, now we turn to Justification. The Greek word used by Paul is “dikaioo,” which means “to show or regard as innocent.” In layman’s terms, it means the following:

1. It means that every sin — past, present, and future— is forgiven.

2. It means that God looks at the one so forgiven as never having committed the sin or sins in question.

3. It means that one is declared innocent, not guilty, and free of all charges, all made possible by Faith in Christ and what He did for us at the Cross.Justification cannot be earned or purchased, at least not by the individual. It is given freely upon Faith in Christ and His Finished Work.”

I don't think that's a judgement we get to make. Unless someone says otherwise emphatically, when someone says the name of Jesus, they mean his humanity, his deity, his words and his deeds, including his crucifixion and resurrection.

Mention Faith in the Cross and watch how Satan will attack you on this forum. Why? Because he knows you have found the answer.

Mention faith in the cross instead of in Jesus and you will rightly be called an idolater.

Your self-righteousness and arrogant, dismissive judgment of others are not from the Holy Spirit.

I have only ever had one person on this form continually be on the attack against me. She has apparently stopped now. I thought I was going to have to marry her to get her to leave me alone.

And that is a joke in case you don't have a sense of humor.
If you don't have a sense of humor I have two you can have one of mine.
