Never lean on the so called sinners prayer for salvation. It’s is not a legal biding agreement that God offers. Will Christians still have besetting sins? Yes. Will God provide ways to avoid these sins? Yes.

Examine yourself. Is your life differing from how you were when dead in your trespasses? If you live like a devil 7 days a week, you may have false assurance.
