Jesus loves, you, too, this I know, for the bible tells me so, MM. And everyone, even the sinners and those ridiculing and hurting Him, Jesus loves ALL them, too, all the non-believers,atheists, Muslims, Hindus, EVERYONE, God is so good :)

Thanks Greenice :D Okay Francina! Well i am a pastors daughter and always knew about Jesus but never understood him. I went to bible camp every summer and encountered God but then backslid during the school year. I knew in my heart without anyone telling me that living in sin was wrong...and i was afraid of Hell. One summer i was fed up with backsliding during the school year and i committed my life to Christ....from there he took hold of me and made me new! Ive been following ever since and...God is awesome :) Whats your testimony??
 
Ok, let me start by saying...
I was abused as a child & neglected. Fast forward after trying to kill myself whiles going through an extremely negative experience with my church.. I ended up , miraculously at a Womens Conference where Paula White talked about being sent for a female who was never cared for by anyone & mistreated by the church & left to die alone. But Jesus passed by & called her for His own. It was very cool, One of many cool moments. By the way, I am not endorsing Paula White, who has gone through some negative changes herself & I feel her own is worse.
So, that has been the story of my life & the dysfunctional girl is gone. I am healed emotionally & still see God do cool stuff like in the bible.

I could relate to that! Glad I'm not alone in seeing that the fear of God is still a good thing. I feared going to hell & that caused me to search for God. It made me fight all the scum like addiction to porn (most females like explicit novels where you can use your own imagination but it is still porn).
 
May I ask what kind of church your parents pastor & are you still going there??
 
Thats totally true! I believe God can use anything to bring people to him.....whether fear or love....for me it was fear!And praise God for your overcoming!

I'm not in a church yet but Pentecostal is a bit broad. You have Baptist Pentecostals, Catholic Pentecostals.....
I'm Pentecostal, I am looking for any close to Assemblies of God, Church of God etc.
 
Oh im not big on knowing a whole lot about denominations...my church loves Jesus and is christian XD

You will see things that will make you decide what you believe trust me. There is no way you could say we are all one, we all love Christ when you see people defend the craziest things. There are people who see nothing wrong with being a homosexual christian & that is directly related to the teachings of denomination.

However, how did you do in school with your faith? Did you go to a christian school? You are out already right?
 
Thats true...i agree with you one hundred percent! Homosexuality is clearly not okay with God....its harsh but the truth sometimes is... This is my last year ...i was in public school my whole life. It was hard, but God took total care of me...Ive never been out drinking or partying and i am pure and have not dated....When i grow up more...i dont think ill ever send my kids to public school! God put people in my path through my school and used that to strengthen me!
 
What is it like to be a christian in Canada hey?
I have been told by a few Canadians that religion is not important. It seems to me that the testimonies I see from christians there or the work that places like the Salvation Army are very passionate. I've never seen the zeal in the Salvation Army & concern for people in the Bahamas Salvation Army nor here in Florida. Is it easy to tell others about the Lord or is it difficult.
In the Bahamas it is certainly difficult because everyone is saved!
 
For me....its hard to tell people about the Lord because i have fear of man :( But in reality i really should because i have the freedom to do so and people do see the love of christ in me which gives me an opening to people for me to talk about Christ! Everyone is saved in the Bahamas...or think they are saved?

I know different. I mean what is their pressure politically not to evangelize. I heard a pastor was arrested there for a sermon.
