I happened upon one of my favorite verses tonight.

“The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.””
Zephaniah‬ 3:17‬ NKJV‬‬

Then for the first time I had the thought to look up the definition of the name Zephaniah.

One of the definitions, according to this link, is "Yah has treasured." I'm not sure if it's accurate, but if so - neat! :)

Strong's Hebrew: 6846. צְפַנְיָה (Tsephanyah or Tsephanyahu) -- "Yah has treasured," four Israelites
 
There are several meanings for Zephaniah. "The Lord has concealed," "The Lord has protected," "Treasured by God."

That is so cool! I never thought of that :)
 
For the Lord has coveted his own in a blanket of warm and endearing wings and has concealed the beauty of his heart except for those who would seek it and will protect those who need protection as a mother protects her child even at the cost of her own life.

The Lord almighty will weave a tale of love written in the stars hidden by the naked eye but not concealed for the eyes of his children for who among the stars could speak of their own accord by a single voice? who among the lights in the night could sing of his greatness? The king of the sky and of the air and of the waters and the earth has hidden his wonders in plain sight and treasures those who would have the heart to seek it and the eyes to read it.

No idea why but when I saw this I had these words on my heart and had to write them out
 
Im not a bible reader but that is really neat,I'm kinda learning bible stuff that pertains to the end of the world specifically for that reason,this sounds really interesting,thanks for sharing.

Also, Blain, I wanted to share this. On Sunday, I struggled and had a tough time emotionally and physically. As I went to get in my car after leaving a bookstore, I saw a car had parked next to me that had a license plate that read, "Psalm 91:4."
That is this verse:
"He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

That really spoke to me in a comforting way at that time.
