There is a time for everything.
Your time at school is for learning, not making religious statements.

1) Do not teach your belief at school.
2) Do not let people know your religious belief, especially at school.
3) Do not become a target at school.

The followers of Jesus Christ are to be wise, not foolish. Please stop!
Do not take Christian literature to school.
Stop!

And, regarding the other thing. It is personal between you and the Savior. Do not speak of it again, to anyone.
It is not to be broadcast to others.

On the other hand, you belong to the Savior. You have salvation in Jesus Christ. So be of good cheer.

You are on the right path. Just be wise. The time for you to teach the good news of the kingdom will come in its own time.
What grade are you in?

Hi XavierD284929 You did good in seeking a Christian community here, welcome to CC! I agree with what LTL said about putting your safety first at school so take care. Re porn, if you knew the background behind it you'd be shocked. They're all ACTORS, some are homeless and most are forced to do this to survive. It's not a cool job at all and some are turning to Jesus instead of the emptiness they had to live with. When you have made up your mind 100% you want to stop turning to that tell God you need help and He will I promise(if you are sincere), he lifted me up before and for good. God bless, keep and guide you Xavier🙏🙌

The porn addiction is difficult to deal with. It's not impossible. You will need to spend time with Jesus and seek His power to overcome. You will need to cut off all access to porn. Get some software that prevents you from accessing it. It's like any addiction, starving it is part of the solution.

Most addictions include a bondage to an evil spirit. When I was a young believer, I had no access to porn. I did not need it as I had continual images running through my imagination. My pastor had a gift of discernment and saw that I was bound by an evil spirit. He cast it out and the images stopped immediately.

Ask the Lord to lead you to someone who can help you. And I can assure you that you are not alone. Many men (and a surprising number of women) suffer, even in Christian circles. No one likes to talk about it or admit it. However, sin is sin, and your problem is not unforgivable. It's good that you want to be free. Lord Jesus came to set the captives free.

Hi XavierD284929, you have set a worthwhile goal for yourself, but it is a hard one to achieve. Likewise at your physical age, and presumably the physical age of many or your peers at school, there are many pressures, especially to conform to one's peer group. Some of your Muslim friends might privately support you, but peer pressure prevents them from acknowledging that. Your interest in porn is also at least partially linked to your physical age, new hormones are raging in your body and learning to control them is difficult and often takes years to fully manage.

I would suggest that rather than try to solve every problem at once, that you choose a single issue, consider how you can address it, and then work on that specific issue with both prayer and positive action. As time goes by, you should find that many of the issues begin to fade away with such an approach, although the total task will likely never be finished in your lifetime, merely reduced in size.

I understand what you’re saying, and I appreciate the advice. I’m not trying to force religion on people or disrupt school. I just want to be able to bring my Bible and stay connected to my faith. I know I should be wise about when and how I talk about it.

I’m a junior and I graduate in 2027, so right now I’m focused on school, growing as a person, and following Jesus the best I can.

Thank you fr I appreciate this a lot. I never really thought about it that way before, especially the background behind that stuff. That honestly opened my eyes more.

I’m really trying to get closer to God and stop falling into things that pull me away from Him. I know it’s not easy but hearing that God helped you through it gives me hope too.

God bless you too and thank you for the support 🙏

Thank you, I really appreciate this advice. You explained it in a way that actually makes sense to me. Sometimes I do feel pressure from people around me and it can get overwhelming trying to fix everything at once.

I think you’re right that I should focus on improving one thing at a time instead of stressing over every problem all at once. I’ve been trying to pray more, grow closer to God, and make better choices little by little.

Thank you again for the encouragement and honesty, God bless 🙏

Ephesians 6:10-18
New International Version
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Are you saying that a young man in high school should make himself a target for the wicked to attack? He should follow the Savior and focus on his studies.

A77, are you making yourself a target for the wicked? I think not. So do not use this young man as your cannon fodder.

Your problem is a common one, especially among the young. Continue to pray and the reading of your bible. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Your desire to stop sinning is good and what is more, you can overcome your addiction!

When Jesus became your Lord and Savior, He gives you the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.....

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

His burden really IS light because He's taking the burden off you and empowering You to reflect Jesus and live as He does, obeying the Father and resisting Sin. I can testify to that.

I got saved when I was 17 so I understand your struggles, but stick with God, submit to the Holy Spirit and you'll conquer whatever your addictions are. Also know that God is your best friend above all - He will be there for you to get you through this storm.

About Muslims, they are not all the same. Most of them are born in to it and don't know about Jesus. So it depends on what God instructs you. You must know God well enough to recognize His voice. If He tells you to share Jesus with some of them in particular, than do so in the Holy Spirit's power and guidance. Otherwise, just be a godly representative of Jesus to them.

You are welcome. Please keep in mind that God expects nothing from you. If we would overcome sin by our own strength, we would not need Jesus. Self control is part of the fruit of the Spirit. Fruit grows without struggle or strain.

We do need to resist temptation when it comes our way. We do this by setting our will against it, as it seems that you are doing. I check out youtube for various reasons. Some of the suggested videos have thumbnails that I'd rather not see. I click "not interested" rather than leave them where I can see them, even if it is a small pic.

Yes! Thank God, by His Spirit!

Again, yes! And it seems he is, but this is where it seems to elude some folks. There is a time to resist, yes, on our own quiet time with Him, but that still allows the tempting images I won't list seen daily out in the world today. The Muslims try to erase God's gift of the woman's anatomy with covering which can fail by wind or bodily position. That leaves open "the mind of the flesh" (Romans 8:6). The subject of temptation all too oft fails to include 'mortification' of the flesh's apatite (Romans 8:13). After which we become subject to His instruction on our conduct,

I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge, , In that case you would have to leave this world."
I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother, , with such a one not even to eat"
(1 Corinthians 5:10,11)
