Go for it, but this is NOT a thread to say 'I like julieannie (Julianna) . She's a rational fiery haired gal. Who do you like? '

In other words, this is NOT a christian chat matchmaker thread, just a thread to say who you admire and a sentence, or, two, or three (for we long-winded folk :D ) why you like him/her or, of course, maybe you like a 'them,' or, who knows, maybe you like a 'thingamajig,' or, maybe you like, like Horton, 'A Who.' :D

I like Daniel Choo. He does these exellent instructional videos on youtube. i learned to play 'Healer' because of him. For His Glory!

I'm hesitant to say that I "like" someone that I don't know personally, but I do respect the way Tim Tebow publicly stands up for Jesus :cool:. I'm sure it's not always easy to do, and many have mocked him for it, but so far he has been pretty steady. People often mention God, and maybe catch a little grief for it, but if you really want to draw some fire, then say the name of Jesus :). Stay strong, Timmy!
 
I like the band Tenth Avenue North. I could listen to them share their hearts all day long, and not just in their music. I listened to an interview with them a couple of weeks ago and some of the things they said are still stuck in my head..in a very good way. :)

LOL!!!! I seriously thought you meant like, boyfriend, girlfriend like...haha.
But anyway...I like John Bytheway....I like the fact that he can fit humor into his extremely motivational speaches.
Never heard of him... I'd strongly encourage anyone to look him up. ;)

On that note, and, back to julieannie, 10th Avenue North is a great inspirational motivational band that makes me feel ALIVE AGAIN and with an UNBROKEN HEART despite pouring rain off my face amidst the tears that fall harmlessly to the ground as I pray to my Saviour. :)
 
Well, I didn't want to tell anyone but I kinda like this guy, he is very nice and also very cute, his name is ........oh wait, I just read what was this about.Hmm in that case I like C.S. Lewis, his creativity to put the gospel in his writings is very amusing, and at the same time his message is always clear. I've read just a few writings from him, but so far Ive liked everything Ive read.

KayM is a gifted young writer and speaks Truth, blueangelflyer :)

I googled Mr Bytheway, blue, and he's a good speaker but he's Mormon so... I guess I will leave it at that but to say God wants everyone not to perish and...John Maxwell is a Christian motivational speaker and pastor and I HIGHLY recommend looking some of his messages up :)

Note: I am not real familiar, at this time, with different religions and never set foot in Mormon church so...I am just saying what I said from a very innocent and, hopefully understanding position, blue. I encourage you to not be swayed by tbose preaching falsely and Jesus to me is the SON OF GOD , not a prophet only butbthe one who came from Heaven to Earth in 1 B.C., or thereabouts, to.save the world from sin and death and physical dying and providing an eternity for us of great pleasure by our Father's side in Heaven Blessings, to you, blue, for your insightful posts on here tonight to help.others in other threads I read. Yes, TRUST in God, your Father in Heaven who will find everything , not to mention, everyone , who.is right for your life if you submit to Him. :)

Kayem77! "he is very nice and also very cute, his name is" (ahem ahem...pokes Karla!)

CS Lewis is good, I also like Max Lucado, he is my favoritest (if ever there was a word like that) of all christian writers mainly because he writes from his heart and gives simple illustration that anyone can easily relate to.
 
Miss BlueAngel, I looked at your profile page and was glad to see that in your favorite people list you included "my savior, Jesus Christ :)". What He did on the cross for us is definitely what gets us into heaven :). I wasn't sure at first, since I noticed before that that you put "I was born Christian" under the "when saved" section. The "going to heaven" deal is made when you come to the realization and acceptance that Jesus paid the price for your sins when He took your place on the cross. Since you said that He is your Saviour, I assume that you've accepted Him as such, making us sisters in Christ :).

I like Joshua Harris. His books, "Boy meets girl" and "I kissed dating goodbye" are good books to read when dealing with dating and getting to know God's plan for your life in the matters of the heart.

Good read, Josh Harris' I kissed Dating Goodbye, Dancing. Really does bring friendship into the picture of getting to know someone liked.

I like Elizabeth Elliott's book, Passion & Purity and this is like the 10th time I've mentioned it in threads but it's message is exquisite for waiting on the Lord for true love. :)

Snackers, a kind remark there above, may God bless you for it ,and ALL you , miladies, may God bless you too for reading great christian autibiographies (movies too, see 'Shadowlands' , kayM) and picking up great speakers words for your life from book and song and video and internet and, well, guess, that's enough, the Lord leads. :)

Going by the rules of this thread, I don't like anyone who I don't know personally (or online). No actors or rich people or celebrities. No brilliant investors, or musicians or singers. No presidential candidates, no radio talk show hosts, no contestants on Dancing w/The Stars. No one.
