Hi I met this guy in April called Alex and he wasn't my normal type so at first there was no attraction there then I got to know him and he was EXACTLY what I want and need in a man. We then fell out and never spoke for a few months, I was told by a trusted friend he likes me and we have always just gelled and got on and he has always been really kind and gentle with me (different to how I have seen him with other girls) but I am scared to tell him who I feel.
My fear comes from the fact that guys have always treated me like I was nothing and picked on me. Also normally if I like someone I keep it to myself so no one can make fun of me

What should I do, should I tell him or not.

P.s I once wrote on a note pad which I write about God in my perfect man, and I always pray that I will find the man God created for me and Alex is that description to the tee, (inc he is a Christian)
HELP

I say you let go of other people's opinions and words, and learn to only take Gods opinion and word :) Keeping your feelings to yourself won't help you progress in anyway, be free to go Alex and just hang around and forget people's opinions coz it will bring you down! God bless

Waiting for the man is a cultural mindset. One i think is silly and can cause people to lose out in life by thinking they shouldn't feel free to express themselves to others.
I would say speak up... but... i see one possible problem... you said he treats you 'gentle and kind'... but then you said he wasn't that way with other girls. So, how is he with other girls then? Because if he's at all mistreating other women and you get involved with him, it will only be a matter of time before you end up being mistreated as well, likely worse than he's mistreated any other women. Maybe thats not what you meant. Would be curious to know what exactly you did mean though before i would even consider suggesting having any involvement with that guy.

I think you should wait for him to show interest in you. ;) Try to speak to him again (since you said you stopped speaking for months) and hangout as much as possible to build trust and eventually he will feel comfortable enough to tell you how he feels.
