Ok so this may sound extreme but I'm about ready to give up on life itself. My father (who was my best friend) died. My mother kicked me out because she wanted to move & didn't want me coming with her. My brother & Sister in law (whom I live with now) aren't Christians so that's already a struggle within itself. And whenever I bring up Jesus name there all like "oh well how do you know there's a God you don't know that at all it's really just a myth" and they just had a fight about two days ago & I took my brothers side thinking I was helping him giving him the right advice ha I know now to NOT to do that! So now there both angry with me for that & are kicking me out in June. I just ask myself everyday. Why God? Why me? You know I'm only 18 years old about to go to college. Haven't had Sex never done drugs or had a boyfriend never snuck out (rarely have friends) I kept to myself so why is God punishing me?! It just doesn't seem fair. You know I'm a senior in high school & the people in my school who do drugs sleep around never seem to have struggles in their life. They have cars, friends, & love by their parents. But me i have no one I feel so alone in this world I just keep thinking when is God gonna notice me?

You have god !

And yes other people have struggles, it is just that people don't always see them.
People who do drugs have serious problems, now how to affort that lifestyle and later how to become clean.
the same for people sleeping around. Sometimes it is exaggarated, and it often comes from a
low self esteem.
The thing about keeping to oneself, try church to find people and/or talk to us, your fellow christians.

You are not alone, you have god and he provides.
Try praying for the people, that let you down, if you can.

M5, I can tell from your posts that you are an intelligent young woman. God has given you that gift. But He doesn't just take away all the obstacles in our lives. While we are on this Earth, life will never be perfect. He has reserved that for Heaven.

Moreover, all those people you know have struggles of their own. Every one of us has a struggle of some sort. I hope this helps, I am praying for you. :) God bless. -JIM

Ok, things may seem tough but focus on what you do have...you have your health and that's priceless, you have your focus on college? That's great and you do have family. Best thing I could suggest is not to push your beliefs on others, especially when they are providing a home for you. Be gentle and show them Christ through your actions. Do not take sides in a marital argument...if its not your argument...stay out of it. June is a few weeks away, be gentle. Think what you need to do, you are 18, a young adult. Think how fortunate you are to have a roof over your head! Many younger are on the streets! It's easy to focus on all that's wrong, instead look at all the wonderful oppertunities ahead. If you have to move out? You have time to find something, start looking now. You have a job? Need to get one! You are in a church? I hope so as there I hope you can find support and may even find a room to rent but do so with caution! This is not God punishing you or singling you out for unpleasantness, this is just life. Life can be a challenge but we can rise to it and grow closer to God through such times. Give thanks!! For all you do have, praise Him, pray and worship Him. Everyone will have trouble in life, some more than others. Comparing yourself to others only leads to discontentment. The only sure thing is Gods love for us and that He will never leave or forsake you. You are a child of the living God! How awesome is that! God Bless you, and try to talk things through with your brother & wife ? humbly, calmly and gratefully, God is a God of restoration amidst the impossible!! :). <><

The Lord Jesus notices you!!! Maybe GOD is preparing you for the persecution to come, you know that the college ( professing themselves to be wise they became fools ) pofessors are going to try to shipwreck your faith and destroy it. I want to pray for protection for you ( PSLAMS 64 ) GOD may be preparing you for the persecution of the saints to come shortly. Jesus notices you!! Call out to him, get on the ground face down and say thank you Jesus, hide me under your wings, confess your sins and the sins of this country ( abortion, gays ) spend a day or two repenting and praising Him, and He will hear you, Jesus notices you!! Look at the saints here that love you and care, Jesus notices you!!!

All God's children have trials and suffering but we have Jesus to help us through. The trials we face help us become the strong Christians God needs us to be. 1Peter4:12-18 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of CHRIST, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rest on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murder or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but paise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, "if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? ?....... pray this helps you. God bless

they have cars, friends, and parents
YOU HAVE GOD...

He has a reason for it, and I know He'll reveal it to you one step at a time.
God will eventually show His glory, just hold on.

in my case, I was been off with Him, and yet He still kept His promise, how much more to you?
In His time, things will get better.
God bless! (")(^_^)(")

Jesus is there for you and don't think for one second that He doesn't know your pain or what you're going through. Pray to Jesus and He will provide you with what you need. Trust in Jesus. This is life. It's not rosy out there. People will hate you, shake you, rate you and then break you, if you let them to. But how strong you stand is what makes you. You still have family to love. Your brother and your sister in law. Jesus said, love your enemies. How much more should one love his or her family. Try not to get involved with any argument between husband and wife. They need to settle it on their own.

Pray. Read the Bible. Listen to music. I know it's hard, but try to be happy and do what you like. Go for a walk. Anything. Because every breath you take counts in this world. Never Retreat. Never Surrender. Never ever jump to drastic and hasty decisions taken in fear or anger. Talk to people. The ones you deem trustworthy. Always pray and talk to people about your problems before you take a decision. Stay positive. Never fear the future. Live life everyday. Take it one easy or hard day at a time. Live life in the present. Don't go back because yesterday is dead and gone. Take your stand.

The answer to your problem lies within yourself. Don't go looking for it. Who can best help you except yourself. Keep your faith in people. But also, believe in yourself. Most importantly, trust in Jesus. Believe in Him. Live life everyday because that's what you were born to do. Hang in there. Don't be discouraged by people who lack discipline. They're not you. They can never be you. God believes you're strong. Many are out there just like you. Forgive your family no matter what. Pray for them. Always love them. Forgive. Set goals. Think of a future where Jesus wants to give you all you need. Remember. When you set your mind on something, no one can stop you except yourself from achieving what you want in life. God will always send His Holy Spirit to help and guide you when you ask of Him. God bless you. Be Bold & Be Strong !!!

have you looked into homeless shelters in your area or asked your church family for help. one of them might have a spare bedroom you could use for the summer before you go to college.

will keep you in my prayers.

God may use this opportunity to bring someone wonderful in your life you might not have meet otherwise and your actions may be a testimony to how God can bring you through it all.

O.K. this might sound strange, but did you ever consider that the way things are going are actually for your benefit? It might be in your ultimate best interest not to live with unsaved people that you are dependent on. Also it might be better for you to be on your own, then living with "family" who left without you!
I challenge you to put all of this to a lot of prayer so that God can show you direction. You can work and you can also go to school and get a place of your own, or with another female Christian who also loves the Lord.
You might find out (as I did) that once you are on your own, living for the Lord you are the happiest you have ever been!!

I'm sorry you're having a hard time right now :(. But please don't blame God. Read in Genesis the first few chapters and you'll see that God created a paradise for us to live in and WE ruined it....not Him. He still loves us very much and wants us BACK. That's why He sent His Son to die for our sins because someone had to pay the debt...God paid it HIMSELF. Have you gone to Him for help? Read and study His Word, pray, find other Christians to fellowship with.

Maybe you can get things worked out with your brother and sister in law.

Praying for you....strength, guidance, and forgiveness with your family members. Work on healing those relationships as well as growing your relationship with Christ. He loves you very much and has good plans for you.

Thank you so much that like really had me thinking & I strongly feel that you may be right. & this might sound strange but i feel like God wanted you to tell me that...

He sees you!!!

There are no real answers as to why God allows things to happen to people. Only that all things are worked out for good for those who love God. And that he will never leave you, no matter what. So with that said, who know what God has planned for you. You may be going through this now to make you a strong person who will be used by God in many wonderful ways.

Don't question God, as hard as that may be, but simply pray for God to make his plan for your life clear and open the doors he has for you. You are a Christian in the mist of unbelievers, all within your family. That has to be hard. But think! Your life, your actions, are a testimony to those around you. It's not always what you say that makes the difference in bringing someone to Christ. It's often what people see in you that makes them realize who Christ is.

Dear M527 :) You are not alone even though it feels like it. You have your whole life ahead of you and each day holds TONS of possibilities :) Psalm 139 God is very aware of you. He understands you and is acquainted with all your ways. Vs 5. "You have beset me and shut me in--behind and before, and You have laid Your hand upon me." (M529 you are safe on all sides)

vs 10. His hand will lead you and His right hand will hold u. He goes on to say how He formed u in the womb and knows all about u. :)
Proverbs 3 vs.5 "Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding." 6. "In all your ways know, recognize and acknowldedge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." Amplified Bible

I hope you find comfort in those verses and what others here have said. When we acknowledge God in our lives in all we do, He promises to direct and make straight and plain our path. It is really true, He does what He says :) Trust Him at His word and lean hard on Him. Have faith in Him and His promises. (times like this is when FAITH grows)

Losing your dad is really rough. I lost my dad too and we were really close. God also promises to be a Father to the fatherless. You are HIS daughter and He will take care of you. All these are promises to take a hold of and lean on. Rest in Him for your security.

I so appreciate the people here and their advice. :) As you make progress you will begin to feel better in the accomplishments. :) Take one step at a time and keep moving. You are never alone. Hope you keep coming here and meeting Christians your age as well as us older sisters and brothers AND finding a good church where you live. :)
BIG hug to you, Lynn

I am so sorry you are suffering. Try spending time with the Lord, thanking Him for what you do have .. make out a list of the good things .. then spend time praising Him .. it unlocks spiritual doors .. He inhabits the praises of His people .. He will never leave or forsake you. His plans for you are for good, to prosper you. Keep living a righteous life, you will have the victory. He is preparing you.
