I need some advice

Alright so here is the story
A few weeks ago I went to my local PC shop as I was having some issues. I parked my car and opened my door to take my computer out I then left a small dent into the car next to me the car didn't look old but had some scratches down the bottom I don't think I had any paper in the car but I waited a few minutes to see if he would come back he didn't so I went inside the store and kept my eye out the window to see if he'd come back he didn't. I finished what i needed to do and went to my car I was freaking out. I decided to go around the block and would come back I did so and when I returned he had gone. I've had a look on google maps to see if they had any cameras and I can't see any. I'm scared to approach the store and ask if they have footage so I can contact the owner but I'm worried the police would lay charges and I'd have a criminal record. I'm a Catholic and had no bad intensions at all and this was not done on purpose I haven told my parents as I'm scared I am only 19 please don't say I'm a bad driver I am a confident driver I just want some advice if I need to go to confession about this and what do I do it's not a big scratch it's a dent on the passenger side door. I never had any criminal intent either but I'm scared as of what to do :( I also hit a workers bumper and checked for any damage to his van and there was no damage I did to his vehicle anyway what should I do
 
Stop stressing out, is what you need to do. It's not a crime to hit another person's car with your car door. If the other car already had so many scratches on it, it's doubtful he will even notice one more..lol.. Count this as a lesson learned, and be more careful next time. :) AND keep paper and pen in your car, just in case.


No offense, but confessing your sins to a priest does NOT absolve you of them. You need to go to GOD directly on this and bypass the priest. Only GOD can forgive your sin, a priest cannot.

Also, if something similar happens again: leave a note under the windshield wiper of the other car with contact details. Problem solved
