I personally need prayer.

I have battled God in my life, and always wondered where I was suppose to be in this world. My answer that I recieved from God wasn't really what I expected. I am soon going to Basic Training for Army. And Im having a lot of issues of fear. I don't know what to do with myself right now. I always told myself I will live and I will die for my country, but I want to come home. And I know I have a high probability of going to Iraq at the beginning of next year.

Not only pray for me, but please pray for my mother. She's a nervous wreck right now.

I am not afraid to die for I know God has a spot in heaven for me, but it's what I leave behind that scares me.

Thank you for your prayers and the support of our troops. I don't want this to turn into a political discussion, so IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HELP ME, DON'T BASH ME! I don't want anymore respect than I already have just because I am a soldier, but respect me for following God's will.

This may help you. It is the prayer to Michael the Archangel for protection. I read a story once about an american marine who recited this prayer before every mission and his group was the only one that did not suffer any major casualties during their tour in Iraq. Of course have no way of knowing if the story is really true but maybe it is.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Hi Ryan, My son just finished his six year stint in the military.
I believe Jesus willl take as good of care of you as he did him.
You and your mom are in my prayers, We moms have to stick together.

I will definitely keep you in my prayers. I've often said that if my boys should decide to serve it would be my most devistated & most proud moment. God Bless you & I pray for him to place a blanket of protection over you. I for one hold you in the highest of regard in this very difficult choice that requires such bravery & such faith. I dont care much for alot of politics that surround our wars. All wars are politically tainted. This in no way should reflect on the brave young men such as yourself called to serve your country. You will be a blessing as well to those around you in your faith, The Lord has called you to do great things in His name no matter where your tour may take you. Bless your heart.

You are honored to serve in this military, it's difficult enough to be in the army of The LORD sometimes, however, you have chosen to sacrifice yourself for me, I just want to say a personal thankyou for so doing this, and I am praying for your Mom, that she woud see you this way, that you are such a blessing to millions of Americans. And I honor her as well for raising you to be the man you are......

I am praying that all that is here that you have to leave or temporarily leave behind will indeed be taken care of...........Fear not my friend, The LORD has your back..........

I am so thankful I live in a country that practices democracy. I have no judgments to make whatsoever for those who serve, just gratitude. I will be praying for you and your mother and I hope you will feel peace in all your decisions.
