I have been divorced over 5 years now and recently my ex husband has decided to file for custody of our son. It has caused great emotional and financial upheaval in the life of the child and I especially since there has not been fostered a relationship between them.

He is 8 years old and he really has become emotional, clingy and very resentful of his dad. It is painful for me too as it comes with great antagonism and anger and it has affected my ability to sleep, concentrate and I cry a lot especially since I am not very confrontational by temperament.

Please pray for us. The court hearing is on July 16.

I have prayed for yours and your sons hearts to be softened... I know you probably don't want to hear this but, God says we must forgive all who trespass against us...

And I know from personal experience, If you give your life to God and do what he says. Even if against your will or better judgement he will work things out for you. I give my word on that.
