What this thread is for:

It's just a place to share anything that God did in the day for which you are grateful. Feel free to share it and thank Him for it. :)

I thank you Lord for averting an accident while I was driving today.

I had been travelling the last two days. As a result, I could only sleep for about 4 hours each day. After reaching home, mom and I had to drive to a place for some work. It was not so far, maybe about 10 miles away. But I was very sleepy and famished. While returning back, I was finding it difficult to stay awake. So I kept drinking a lot of water and constantly talking to keep myself focussed. All of a sudden though, I nearly fell asleep. I was immediately jolted awake by a voice that said 'Hey!' The car had slowly begun to drift into the right lane where there was a car just overtaking me. Had God not woken me up at that instant, I would have fallen asleep at the wheel and had an accident.

Note to self- Never, ever drive if you feel tired.

Wow.... I'm so glad you woke when you did.

I'm thankful for save traveling so far and clear skies where it was supposed to be raining .

For allowing me to wake up. For another day. For a roof over my head. A pillow under my head. Optional bed or blankets. Food I eat. Water I drink. Drugs I need. My family and few friends. And coffee... Especially coffee. Last to mention, but far above all the other things, thank You for your Son. Especially for all those time I needed someone to listen.

I thank God He loves me... I thank Him for His grace everyday..... I'm thankful for this overwhelming peace that's in my heart... even though I know that there's certain things I'm facing, I have His constant peace.... He is perfect!

Thank God for caffeine! The single only psychotropic drug that is NOT a schedule 4 restricted substance. :D

For the times when You have protected me when I couldn't protect myself
For the mysterious dreams, and the feelings that stir within me that I cannot explain sometimes, that draw me to you and explode outwardly in emotion.

I am thankful for my beautiful healthy baby boy and a job that God has blessed me with.

I thank God that my job interview today went well. I thank God for Arlene and my family and for their heartfelt prayers and encouraging words.

I thank God for guiding me through a delicate situation at work over the last few days. I thank Him for the yummy lunch which mom packed for me today. I also thank Him for the beautiful cloudy weather, which is such a relief from the heat and humidity of this place.
