Some hopeful fluttering of the soul, a wave of nostalgia within the mind, and a sprinkle of love with the heart... Then I boxed it, taped it shut, and put it away among all the other boxes and moved on.
 
The more I thought about it the harder I fell.

It stressed me out to a breaking point, I prayed and ranted about everything I was angry about and all of a sudden in the middle of my ranting God changed my heart and I was able to let it go.
 
I usually put on my spidy outfit and swing between buildings as I sift through my emotions.

Well there was this attractive older redhead on a christian site that one time....jk

There was actually a girl in college who was from Germany as part of the foreign exchange student program. I knew it was dumb because she would be leaving in january to go back home, but the four months we did spend together were fantastic. she could actually hang out and keep up with me, guess that was the german heritage.
 
Hehe, I never tried to not fall in love that I remember :). Either it happened or it didn't ...well, either I had feelings or I didn't, or I developed a crush or not. I doubt I've ever been IN LOVE, even though I've felt love for some men. It's funny how sometimes something will just sort of pop up. A guy I didn't have a lot of interest in at first gave me a dose of feelings for him when he protected/defended me in the chat room. In case any guy is reading this and worrying that it may be him, don't worry; that guy isn't on this site anymore, and things didn't work out between us. It's just interesting how it can be so easy to suddenly fall in love or "fall in love" when a guy does something appealing. I've heard it's often the same way for the guys when a girl is acting in a way that a gentleman likes.
 
I'm thinking that trying hard not to fall for someone is something that only women do because I've never heard of a man doing that. No offense, ladies. ;)

Actually, I think you are right. I know the men who I have dated who claimed to be in love with me didn't hesitate in falling or declaring it. Even though these same men were hurt by women previously. While I held back to be sure they were someone I would want to spend my life with before I would open myself up to even giving my heart a chance to fall in love.
