I want to be like you...

Father I know that I have sinned,
and this I will confess.
I often fail to listen,
when I know that you know best.

I know you said you'd never leave me,
and although I know your there...
I often feel lost,
like no one really cares.

I want to be like you, Dear Jesus,
perfect in every way.
I want to be sin free,
Can I try again today?

I often feel ashamed,
of the disappointment I put you through.
I want to change my life, Dear Lord,
I want to be like you!

But, I'm not sure I know how,
So I am asking you for a hand.
I need a little help you see,
to be the best me that I can.

I do know that you love me,
I can feel it within my heart...
But I want to live sin free, My Lord..
Can you tell me where I start?
