Everybody would love to go to heaven. If people just follow the commandments of Jesus then the path is definitely straight. If it's not then that's going to be like a path like a roller coaster ride.
 
Nickosha I think the key word that ILoveGod123 is trying to convey is "Now". I think a lot of us at times feels like if it were up to us we would leave this earthly suffering to be in paradise with The Lord instantly. That's not His plan though and we don't always see what it is as we're going along through life.

Sometimes we can't see the star in the east to head towards like the wise men did so we feel like we're just going through the darkness kind of lost. Maybe it's because we're suffering physical infirmities, or emotional turmoil because of relationships with family or friends, financial difficulties. As much as some of us wanna pretend otherwise, knowing God's Grace doesn't make life easy.
 
Even Paul battled that feeling. He wanted to just be done with all this and get to heaven, but he also knew the burden in his heart that there was still a lot of work left to do here on earth.
