Have you ever wanted to do something, but God showed you that, ultimately, it wouldn't be good for you?

Have you ever thought you could never do something, but God showed you that you could?

Have you ever wanted to go one way, but God pointed you in another direction?

Please tell us about it. :)

Have you ever had God give you an answer to prayer a promise, a look into your future, then had him tell you to wait?

Very good topic, Julianna, as always:D

Just so you know, I admire your inspiration and how every topic you post is so popular. Very well done:D

But to get to the topic now: I wanted to marry my first boyfriend (I was 16....lol, it makes me laugh when I think about my silly thoughts back then), but God wouldn't let me because he treated me poorly and didn't appreciate me for the princess I am :D

I never thought I could graduate from school. I always looked at my other classmates and I thought, wow, I can imagine all of them graduating and having a super successful job, but I could never see me in that position. But God is so good.....and showed me that I can if I work hard and trust in His help.

Also right now I am findig myself at a very essential and important crossroads in my life. Since I grew up in a very strict and traditional culture (Romania) my family expect me to go the same way that everybody does...which is as a girl getting married and having children because as a girl only when you get married, that's when your life starts. So for me it would be easier and more comfortable to go that way, but I feel like God wants more than that for me, and so I feel like He is pointing me towards something else, greater and bigger.

People might think....lol, such a naive little girl thinks that she is supposed to do something else than what is the standard...but I am a dreamer and I also like to wake up after God placed a dream in my heart and pursue that. :D

I wanted to remain sane and live a normal life, but God wanted me to join CC!!!

I wanted a relationship at a point in my life, but God pretty well said NO.
