If you would, could you give me one example? Just one, please. When there's a year's worth of reading material that doesn't make sense, I lose interest quickly.
Regretting not being able to feed your addictions without free will shows your focus is prioritised on pleasing your flesh rather than on appreciating Jesus Christ and the Father.

Here's what I would like to do (I thought of this a week or two ago) . . . I'd like you to help me figure out where and how I went wrong in my beliefs. This is where I think you're collegiate approach could be most useful. What do you? Let's trace my steps backward to see what the problem is with what I believe and why I believe it.
If you're willing, and I hope you are, my beliefs on free will are this: It is only a limited sense of free will, but full, unrestricted, free will.

Please restate your position, so we can all understand your exact position on the matter of "free will vs determinism".

No. I wasn't in a rush at all. It's very simple and clear. But, for those who believe they are responsible for all their choices and decisions just have a tough time seeing "it."
The Bible is clear, all people's ability to think and choose is corralled. Our thinking processes all have a hedge around them. Our range and scope of thinking and decision-making are granted. We are not all gifted with the same range of thought and ability to choose. Moreover, all who do not belong to Christ, as the Bible clearly states, are under the control of the Devil with the express purpose of doing his evil will. When a person is purchased by Christ, they are Redeemed from his evil captivity, but are only then led into the captivity of Christ, where His Elect are then used, by God Himself, with the express Purpose of spreading the message of His Holy Son.
But before all this, humanity was placed under the Adamic Curse, which impacted our ability to think, choose, and behave. For this reason, Jesus was sent to Earth. Christ's Purpose, Work, and Effect are all proportionate to our inability to deal with the hedge placed around our "choosers."
I am not making these things up. There is reasonable "Bible" to support each idea. For it is from the Bible alone that I obtained these ideas. They are not my own.
I am not yet contesting any of your views on free will, I'm just trying to understand, specifically, what they are.
Let's try this question:
Do you believe God called you to salvation in a way that you could not resist, or do you believe God called you to salvation in a way that gave you free will to accept or reject Him?

So you don't believe you have any free will, but you also believe that you (not God) are responsible for writing your first post, and choosing what to say?
When you do something of your own volition, ya know... that might just possibly fall under the category of free will.

Hey,bro when you never know the truth of God, you really have free will, but till you come to the Jesus Christ, he said that he did it the will of God, not the will of himself.
The Christian in-house debate over free-will vs determinism, is a debate that has been raging for hundreds of years, and it's not really why I'm in this thread. My last couple of posts were just a bit of teasing... it wasn't intended as serious debate.
