Christians committing suicide then going to Hell is not supported by the Bible.

Scripture teaches that once Christians have salvation, they cannot lose it. (John 3:16; 1 john 5:13) So it would make sense that if a true believer has dedicated their life to Christ, falls into sin and commits suicide, that they would still go to heaven.

But if a non-Christian commits suicide, then they will go to hell. But it is not because they committed suicide, its because they never committed their life to Jesus. Someone who doesn't know Jesus or refuses to give their life to him without a doubt will go to hell.

But don't get me wrong, suicide is an awful sin to God. Suicide is as worse as murder, if not worse! God gave us life and the ability to follow him and trust in him and if we fall away from him and no longer trust in him and kill ourselves. Then i would think that would be worse than murder.

What about Hebrews 10: 26-29? Is not suicide trampling over the blood of Jesus. It's suicide falling into pride in a sense, saying "I will" instead of what "God wills"

It's contradicting to say murders go to hell, but those who commit suicide which you feel is greater than a murder doesn't...sounds injust to me

MyLighthouse, God has the last word, hasn't he? Wouldn't that mean that they'll go to God? (If they were christians)

We aren't necessarily judged on whether we go to heaven in hell based off of our sin. Its how much we gave to Jesus and how hard we tried not to sin. And you have to think about it as if they were strong believers and gave there lives to Christ. If they did that and have salvation, then nothing can change whether or not they go to heaven!
