Mr 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Seems that Jesus was affirming the eternal judgment of God upon those two cities.

You do not like to be told you are wrong do you.
You just spend an hour arguing with budman. Why? He asked you an honest question. You did not have to go off on him (you did whether you admit it or not) all you had to do was explain what you meant.
I think a thread on "Character Assassination" needs to be made. VVhen we go around accusing people of attacking and being dishonest so freely it puts into question the character of the person being accused of such. I don't think thats fair, and is wrong. It could just be a difference of opinion instead of malicious behavior. : /
He had bigger fish to fry, if you will pardon the pun-like nature of that reply. Like the plank in your eye, for instance. "Your" being used generally. I have already brought up the fact that adultery was likely mentioned in Scripture more often than homosexuality. Do we see threads on adultery? Do we go around stoning adulterers, anything like how homosexuals have been murdered and persecuted throughout history? What is the spiritual significance of adultery? Is it not idolatry? Idolatry is the sin whether one is hetero or homosexual.
Some will say that the sin Sodom and Gomorrah was that of being inhospitable to outsiders. Remember how important loving others is? It is central to the gospel message, the fulfillment of the commandments (love God first, and others as yourself). I have actually had people argue against that point as if gang rape was a friendly welcome-to-the-neighbourhood type of behavior.
All the threads on adultery are in the Family forum. With the rest of the issues like porn, divorce, etc..
Are they threads condemning adultery, or are they people coming in to talk about their adulterous spouse and ask for advice? I see plenty of the latter, sure.
For the most part, they ask for advice. Then they don't like the advice their given, so they get no where in their quest.

It was already in the O.T. so there was no need to talk about that to Jews. That was totally clear to them that that was sin. He didn't speak about sex outside of marriage either. That was clear too.
Paul who was sent to the gentiles said it was sin.
No double fabric clothes and no pork was only O.T. since in Acts they said the gentiles had to abstain from blood, fornication and suffocated meat and meat offered to idols. Paul didn't repeat that that was sin, but he said the same things about homosexuality etc. as the O.T.
Oh, and Jesus was NOT silent about homosexuality. He said, "man shall not lie with another man, nor woman with another woman". It's fairly obvious (or should be) that he meant men and women are not to be gay lovers of the same sex. It goes against the natural order of man and WOMAN.
And some seem to be just trolling. Not equivalent to what we have here at all.
Maybe I just have a heart for the down trodden, and the outsider.
Please post a Scripture of Jesus, as the eternal second person of the
Godhead, in His earthly incarnation, speaking about homosexuality.

I wonder how many times Jesus said, you have heard it said, but I say unto you... Saying something is in the OT and therefore needed no mention is not true, otherwise everything Jesus taught would have been new. He taught into the deeper spiritual meanings of the law, not the letter of the law as the pharisees did.

You seem to be defending it a lot. I know your not, but you need to start looking at things you say as an outsider would.
Oh and PS. To people who know the law. Sexual immorality would include all kinds of sexual sin, Including homosexuality.
So if Jesus said sexual immorality, He meant to include homosexuality in that sentence.

Homosexuality is sin, Like all sin.. As James said, You break the least of the law. Your guilty of it all..
It is not a greater sin, (although a lot of churches will hold it as the "big three" (which is wrong))
