If I suddenly disappear from CC for a while...

I started blocking tracking attempts and things improved. FYI, every time i sign into CC, I get at least 50, and sometimes it is as high as 200.

I have seen and dealt with this kind before; however, as of late, it is a different kind that I am seeing - one "I am human" click box and nothing else.

Thanks anyway - I guess I never paid much attention to the audio option - learned something new... :)

I have the old(now) Win10, no real security & a 2nd hand laptop and never have had the problem you are dealing with. I googled it and there are a few suggestions incl:
  • Disable VPN/Proxy: Turn off your VPN or switch to a different network (e.g., mobile data) to change your IP address.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies: Clear browser data to ensure you are not sending invalid session tokens.
  • Run a Malware Scan: Your computer might be sending traffic that triggered a block.
  • Contact the Website: Use the Ray ID found on the error page to contact the site owner to ask them to whitelist your IP.
Idk if the above helps but I don't envision you as a quitter aaaand you're a blessing to this site/family. Once in a while your intellect is over my head but who doesn't appreciate a challenge?😂 Hang around por favor, ducky🦆🙏!

Thank you very much for the kind words - it is rare and I really appreciate it - it encourages me. However, what I meant when I said 'until I just give up' was simply giving up trying to log in to CC at any particular time that I experienced what I was describing - I was not referring to leaving CC.

If I'm gone for one whole month , I'm dead , c u later ❤️ . I'm in England and I only access this site through my mobile phone that cost me £100 at least six years ago . No problems .

I have a very fast connection at home and I get that on my computer and phone. I assumed it was too prevent Internet bots from spamming the site.

cloudflare has kept me from logging in for the entire past week - and continuing...

The only reason I am on here now is from installing and using a different browser on my phone - after trying 4 or 5 others that did not work - just to try to catch up with recent posts, etc.

I've never noticed the audio button, guess I'm just to busy quickly picking what to click.

I had problems on the old ipad, never used to not be able to reply, even when logged in. I log out, try to login again but doesn't work.
Then this cloudfare thing came up, saying my browser was too old (Safari) so changed to Chrome, but even that was too old for CC.

I'm on Chrome on the macbook, so far only probs have been sometimes a bit slow and checks for verification. I'm always logged in.

After a short while, I decided to uninstall the browser on my phone - so, I cannot get on here with my phone. However, the good news is - I finally managed to improve my situation on my desktop computer (which I would rather use to get on here anyway - I like having a full-sized keyboard and monitor/screen); therefore, from a purely technical standpoint, I am back to being able to get on here without difficulty. However, there are some other "issues" - we will see how it goes...

I still have a Windows 2000 image.

Ever install Windows 2000 on a computer and try to use its version of Internet explorer to access a web page? It's a trip!
