You got to pray to Gods Precious Loving Holy Spirit to remove these away. I deal with this but dont be scared of the thoughts come worse you got to. Use Gods Word and rebuke the thoughts in Jesus Name. I just dealt with a horrible attack you know why we deal with it becausw it humbles us, gets us closer to Jesus ♡♡ and glorifies Jesus. You can help others let awesome Abba Father USE you, HES IN CONTROL♡♡♡ also write down your battles.
The battle. When and how long. What happened. What did you do? Complain or praised Jesus our Lord and use His Word. And what was the lesson. The battle i just dealt with was helll oh wow but Jesus got me through it by not being scared of the thought and crying out to the Precious Holy Spirit to remove the thoughts. Oh how i love Abba Father Hes so faithful. Just rejoice i this suffering brings patience, perserverence read JAMES 1. Rememner these thoughts are not you. Do the 3 RS 1) Recoginize- who its from 2)reject if Jesus never said it by using the Word of God to the thought read 2 corthians 10:5 sumbit the thought to make it obedience to Jesus Christ. like a thought saying Gods mad at me no thats a lie 3)Replace the thought and say its written God loves me with an everlasting love. I am ugly no thats a lie say God said You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Use Gods Word the most powerful WORDS in the world. I have been dealing with ocd for 3 years i am getting it. You can get through it. You dealt with it before rught has God ever failed you by letting you fall?? Nooo so trust in what God says. God didnt give us a spirit of fear but POWER AND LOVE AND A SOUND MIND ♡♡♡♡♡ He didnt give us a power of disobience where we wont submit to Him He gave us His Precious Power to fight this. We already have victory, through Jesus Christ His Son. Take hear He already overcame the world. World meaning all evil. We should not fear, worry, doubt, be confused, have unforgiveness Jesus destroyed all that by His Precious Blood spilled for us on calvarly. I am here for you. Gods not mad at you. He loves you He knows what your going through.

Jesus has me submitting the thought too like Jesus this thoughts against you Please help me i dont want to sin against you. Please take it away. < this is being fear of hurting Jesus which is what we are supposed to do. FEAR OF GOD LIKE you fear police oh man i dont want to get into truoble i better not do that be afraid Of Our God Almighty Jesus Christ like that only Hes our judge not the police their not our judge.
 
Hi there, I can relate to what you're going through. Thank you for the encouragement. At times in my life I've felt so very alone, afraid and filled with anxiety because of dark thoughts that sometimes felt beyond my control. It's hard to adequately describe an attack/episode (whatever you want to call it) to someone who hasn't been through it (so it's reassuring in a way to hear from someone who knows). As scary and as hard as it has been at times, you know what? God has gotten me through it. He's shown me how to lean on Him. It's almost like He's breaking off the bondage piece by piece, so I can experience His love more and more. Like you said, He's always with us. He loves us. I pray for blessings of peace and comfort for your heart. :)
 
Wanted to share with you guys something we heard in a sermon message. The preacher was telling of how he would have these awful thoughts and had such guilt and shame about them. He didn't know where they came from and they came at the oddest times like when he would try to pray or when he was in church or when he was reading the Bible. The thoughts were dark and vile at times.

He was tormented with these thoughts and the guilt and condemnation they brought him. Then he read a book about the life of a Christian man named Hudson Taylor. (hope that is the right guys name) This man was a believer back a century or so ago. He said he was tormented by these dark vile and filthy thoughts and felt he couldn't go to God because of his filthy mind.

But one day he was reading the Bible and the Holy Spirit spoke to his heart and told him that these are not from him they were from the enemy of our souls. The devil wants to whisper words into our consciousness making us think they are our thoughts when they are not.

It also happened to me as a new mom. I was holding my new born baby in the hospital room and the thought came into my mind 'what if you drop the baby, you could drop the baby' I thought; where is THAT coming from!? What's wrong with me?!

It really bugged me that my mind would think such a thing. It happened at other times too like when I was doing target practice. The idea I could shoot someone. What if I shot my son who is standing there re positioning the targets for us? I thought I must be a dark person to have such thoughts. What is wrong with me?

This kind of thing has also happened to many other Christians and non Christians. The devil wants to confuse and confound us. He wants to steal our peace and our soundness. he does it by confusion and lack of understanding what the Bible says about our minds and he uses shame to cause us to hide and not tell anyone. If he can get people to be shamed they will keep it hidden in darkness and not bring it out into the light so it can be dealt with in light of the truth. When it is, the whole thing is exposed and demolished. Just like the Bible says we are to be doing..."demolishing" these attacks. There is a verse that goes with the word "demolish or demolishing" but I can't remember where to find it in the Bible. Don't have a concordance here at work.

How we do this "demolishing" is knowing the truth in the Bible and we will be able to demolish the lies of the enemy and make him flee from us. We so need the Word of God hidden in our hearts by memorization. The Holy Spirit will bring these truth principles to our minds. And He will also use other Christians to show us. :D

It's much like if you are in a room and someone is swearing and using foul language. It makes you cringe but it is not you saying it. We don't take it on as ours. After I found out this truth the dark thoughts were gone. Just like with Hudson T. and the preacher who shared about this in his sermon. We were able to demolish these thoughts and resist the devil and he had to flee.

P.S. also., it took a while before this truth was mine. I didn't know this truth and other truths from the Bible because I didn't study (didn't think I could) or listen every day to the preaching of the Word until later in life. So I could not access the truth and have victory and make the devil flee.

I was under the impression that God was mad and disgusted with me. I believed the lie that the Bible made me feel more guilt and shame. But you see, it was the devil's plan all along. Using lies to keep us away from the very truth that would set the prisoner free. It's our blood bought right to go to the Father without any condemnation. We can never allow the enemy to stop us from having what is rightfully ours in Christ.

The word "destroying" in the previous post was more in line with the word casting down. Must have been from another Bible version previously read. The verse I was thinking about was 2 Cor.10:5 KJV

We can do this by knowing what the Bible says and then we can cast down and refute the enemy and those who are used by him and the words and human reasoning we hear every day that go against the truth of the Bible.

But it's our responsibility to go to the Bible and learn how to use the sword of the Spirit. He will work in our lives as we give Him place. Get rid of our old stinking thinking and allow Him to give us His truth. Also, it has to be said that the way to lead every thought captive into the obedience of Christ is looking at HIS obedience., not ours. When we look at our obedience we fail., when we look at His obedience we are MORE than conquerors. :D

This is a good post because Satan loves to drop bad thoughts into out mind whenever he can. I remember years ago my car broke down and as I was working on it I started to become angry and I seem to be calling myself evil names because of my situation. Suddenly I stopped and thought, why am I calling myself stupid and other bad names because I had done nothing wrong? Then I became aware that the voice was not from me it was from Satan, when I resisted it went away. Satan loves to give you a bad thought and pretend that it was from you. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.
