If you had an hour to spare right now, what would you do?
I don’t know about you, but this made me think over about the following verse:
• “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” (Col 4.5).
What are we doing with our time?
1 - We are idle and with enough time to spare in vain things?
2 – We are missing time because we are wearing ourselves out in cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the pleasures of this life, and the lusts of other things (Mark 4.19; Luke 8.14)?
3 – We are not managing to get in time because we have so much to learn about Jesus and His word and we need to take up the mission that Jesus has for us (see Psalms 25.14)?
May us ache for redeeming time investing it in praying and caring about people around us.
