Haha... i'm just curious cuz i'm lame and never leave my house!

If you're not meeting people online................ where are you meeting them?!

I'm kinda tired of having no social life! lol I'd love to hear from both guys and gals! :)

Well, I used to be able to meet many people daily when I was in college......I guess I still do when I go out, except when they speak a different language than me, its hard to communicate....Since I am in a Spanish speaking country....
 
yeaaah... i dont think i should go lurk around colleges tho :P haha i'm not in college... and i dont have a job to meet ppl :( cuz i'm a nanny... the only socialization i have is with people under the age of 8! haha

I'm sure you leave your house to go shopping, make errands, etc......You meet people there, or hide behind Santa..LOL.....

Its good you are having contact with some outside your age group though........
 
haha well yes, i do go grocery shopping... however... i dont really creep around the aisles and pounce on unsuspecting people asking them to befriend me! lol i'm shy. well not really... but people around here can be creepers! i dont wanna be a creeper! lol
 
I know what you mean......What's even more creepy is when people start stalking me and speak Spanish at the same time.....I would say I am a bit reserved at times, but also rambunctious occasionally ......This kitty can get into mischief....LOL
 
Namaste -- awesome! I know what you mean! The only ladies around the churches I go to are all really old ladies who think I'd be just the right thing for their grand-daughter.

As for asking fellow CC-ers about where to meet people in real life, that's like a blind person asking another one for directions. There's a fundamental flaw in there somewhere.
 
well... i go to intervarsity christian fellowship at Univ of Delaware. so there r a lot of people around my age there. i also meet peeps online. i also work at supermarket. yet usually i talk 2 ppl ONLY when im on register.
 
Water aerobics on Saturday mornings, is another great place to meet 60 & 70 year old ladies-- complete with floaties!
 
I do get to meet guys at churches, but there certainly aren't any manly, available men at any churches I go to. =/ Ones who are really good christians, anyway.
 
Obviously there's a disconnect here. Ladies, what kind of churches do you go to, because obviously us guys are going to the opposite type churches, and we're missing each other.
 
y'all are crazy....i go to a Christian University....but yah the choices there aren't really any better than real life....and believe it or not (no one seems to believe me fer sure when i say this) i have the epic shy syndrome!!! i'm so quiet in class...and i dont really get into the whole Friday night "wade through a crowd of ppl you dont know" parties. so yah i'm just waiting for ppl and friends and such...but! okay so, last time i didnt get close to anyone in my area...God sent me somewhere else. He sent me to TN, where I am now. And it's not really happening for me here either...so He might be getting me ready to transition and move again...idk. I'm waiting to hear..
 
Absotivly no-where

*sigh* most of the girls at my University are either

1) moody and angry
2) smoke and cuss
3) Aren't Christian
4) aren't interesting

everyone at my church is um....young? yea, that's it. There's like one girl who's my age that's available

*whistles*
 
i dont know about your town but my city has several christian coffeshop like places...thats always a good place to meet people...
