I'm 14 and my family is all I've got.. and I'm losing them..

Hi.... I dont know what im doing, but i moved to colorado and my parents want a divorce because my mom wants to stay and my dad wants to go. But my familys all ive got so i cant let that happen. my brother is going to die here in washington, (long story) and i dont know what to do.. i will be all alone... i need god to pull my family together. i cant lose them. if i lose them, the earth will lose me... i wont have a reason anymore.. just, please. I dont understand why this is happening or why i cant change it. i need it to change though... i need it to..

When I was young, my family was in a lot of turmoil. It seemed as though I had a house full of people, but no one to talk too. Thats when I knew God was my Father, and my true family was bigger than I realized. I knew then I was in control, and i could handle my immediate family's turmoul. I looked at them as individuals. With prayers and Gods help I developed myself into the best person I could be. Now, many years later, I am helping them out in their tribulation, and they all seeek my comfort. I could never have seen such a thing when I was younger.

You are Gods child, be an example for others to see God thru you.Concentrate on what you can do for God, yourself, and your family and let them seeyou love them. Your never alone.

Seek some help, go talk to someone you trust.Be patient you will be OK.
 
Emmie, trust in Jesus, that He will bring healing to your family.
Even if your family is changed, you can know that this change will not change their love and care for you.
Jesus will bring all you need no matter what happens.
My family changed when I was young also, I thought I would never survive it, but I did, and discovered love was still presant in my life.
Some came from a new places, and it brought me more family in those I never expected.
And a greater love that was more than I could have hoped for.
You , your brother and all your family are in my prayers, for all healing in Jesus Christ is Lord.

Emmie, dear child, it's so hard to see at any age, but especially when we are very young.
I understand this feels like death to you, my love, and I am so sorry. :(

Have you ever heard the story of Joseph? It's in Genesis, beginning in chapter 37, but I'll try to synopsize it here.
Joseph was born with 10 older brothers, and he had one younger. His older bros had a different mom then he and Benjamin, his little bro.
His dad gave him an awesome coat, really beautiful, and his older brothers were jealous. And, the Lord gave Joseph dreams that made his older brothers r-e-a-l-l-y angry, and even more jealous! (but the dreams came true many years later)
Joseph was sent to bring his brothers some food, and they took advantage of this time alone to sell him into slavery, though most of them wanted to kill him. Joseph went to Egypt, and lots of things happened to him there (bad things, like prison and being falsely accused of something terrible), but since it was God's plan, he eventually became the right hand man to the Pharoah, the king. He was given the ability to interpret dreams the king had, and used his position and knowledge to store up lots of food against a coming famine. One day, his brothers came to the king's palace to ask for food. They didn't recognize their little brother Joseph, but he knew them. He saved his whole family, and the land of Egypt with his food storage plan, and when his brothers finally knew who he was, he said this to them:

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive. Genesis 50:20

We just never know, Emmie, what the Lord will do with what seems so evil now. I have prayed for your brother, sweetheart. I don't have to know his circumstances (though we will listen if you wish to tell us :) ) because the sovereign God knows. I have prayed for your parents, and for you, dearest.
I see the hand of the Lord in you being here...please don't mistake that for coincidence! Even though you're not sure if you know Him, He knows you. ♥
And the Lord Jesus gave his life to pay the price of our disobedience to God: death. Jesus IS our Savior. We simply agree with what God says about us; that we are sinners in need of forgiveness, and that Jesus is the way to God through His death and resurrection. God draws us to this knowledge, and God makes us able to agree with Him. He never lies, and He will always love us who are His.

I ask our Father to show you where to find someone who belongs to Him through Jesus in person. I ask Him to reveal His plan for your salvation to you. I ask Him to bring the right person to you, if you can't get to them. And I hope you will keep visiting us here, dearest.

Becareful not to give too much personal info online.
I say this from a mom's perspective.

As for what is happening in your life...
God is in control and everything will work out for your good.
I will pray for you...and Jesus will be by your side through all of this.
Don't forget to pray every time you get confused.
God can give you wisdom and understanding.
