kristinei dear,

I know how you feel but we can make a choice to "rejoice in the Lord, always!" No better thing to do than to put everything under his will.
There is always a way out, especially when you trust Jesus. He is with you in the tunnel not just waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.

You belong to God. You are his responsibility.

I'm fighting depression too. But I just have to keep reminding myself of the good in my life and how things could be worse. Also resolve in your mind that God wants better for you. Whatever is causing your depressed feelings God can change & He will change if you let Him work in your life.
I know I don't feel like doing anything, not even getting out of bed, but I make myself get out & see people & I'm always surprised that it does help a little.

I know how you feel, I too have been suffering from depression and never really knew it. It was not until my suicide attempt that the Lord opened my eyes on what it is to Love and serve Him. This is what I like to read when to remind me of Gods Love. So stay strong and always remember you are not alone.

God uses problems to draw you closer to himself. The Bible says Psalms 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit." Your most profound and intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days---when your heart is broken, when you feel abandoned, when you're out of options, when the pain is great--- and you turn to God alone. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heartfelt, honest-to-God prayers. When we're in pain, we don't have the energy for superficial prayers. "When life is rosy, we may slide by with knowing about Jesus, with imitating him and quoting him and speaking of him. But only in suffering will we know Jesus." We learn things about God in suffering that we can't learn any other way. God could have kept Joseph out of jail, kept Daniel out of the lion's den, kept Jeremiah from being tossed into a slimy pit, kept Paul from being shipwrecked three times, and kept the three Hebrew young men from being thrown into the blazing furnace--- but he didn't. He let those problems happen, and every one of those persons was drawn closer to God as a result. Problems force us to look to God and depend on him instead of ourselves. Paul testified to this benefit: 2 Corith. 1:9 " We felt we were doomed to die and saw how powerless we were to help ourselves; but that was good, for then we put everything into the hands of God, who alone could save us." You'll never know that God is all you need until God is all you've got.

Because God is sovereignly in control, accidents are just incidents in God's good plan for you. Because every day of your life was written on God's calendar before you were born, everything that happens to you has spiritual significance. Everything! Roman 8: 28-29 explains why, "We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son."

Wow Peace34... that was really encouraging. It is so true that "You'll never know that God is all you need until God is all you've got." I have experienced that first hand lately and although i'm still very much going through the journey I have learnt of God's faithfulness and unchanging stability in my life. I know God's promises are true now and always.

Kristinei - i'm glad you are feeling better :)

NOT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO US ON EARTH IS OF GOD. HERE IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS....GOD IS LOVE. GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, THAT IS OF THE DEVIL. OUR CHOICES CAN LEAD US INTO SITUATIONS THAT PUT STRESS ON OUR LIVES, BUT YOU ARE YOUNG AND GOD WILL CARE FOR YOU AND WE SHOULD CARE FOR OURSELVES AS BEST AS WE CAN.

IF YOU NEED MONEY TO SURVIVE THEN THIS IS A REAL CONCERN, BUT IF IT IS FOR THINGS THAT AREN'T REALLY NEEDED THEN IT IS TIME TO CHANGE

SPOKEN FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE

I DON'T KNOW IN YOUR LIFE, BUT SOMETIMES GIVING TO OTHERS CAN HELP YOU OUT OF YOUR DILEMMA
