i hope this isn't posted in wrong section.

There was this guy at work. he'd stare at me, make goofy faces, open door for me, want to hang with me, ask me questions, sneak up behind me and scare me, he noticed everything i did, comment on my hair, clothes, etc....i found out from 2 ppl he liked me. Then I gain an interest in him and on his last day he told me were still gonna talk, etc., then he quits the job and moves to the suburbs and I never heard from him again.

Several weeks later I decide to text him. He wrote back really fast and we texted for nearly 5 hours. I ended up with the last word. I wont be texting him again, the ball is in his court now. It's been a week and no text from him. I'm pretty sure he's lost interest and wants me to leave him alone. And he must not have even really liked me to begin with.

What do you know about his personal life? Ive been burned by so many guys mt first question would be "Is he a player" Sorry for being so negitive.

Not that I know of. At work he always kept to himself. I mean I wasn't spying on him or anything, but the times we were at work together I never seen him talk to anyone, only me. I found out he liked me from a co-worker. She said he came up to her and asked if I had a boyfriend and that he thought I was cute. Even if he was a player, he knew early on that I wasn't the type that you could play(sexually, etc). Im not easy, but I don't play hard to get. I'm just in between chill down to earth girl, but I believe in Jesus Christ and His Word. But even when I told him that he still pursued me, so he could have moved on once I told him that and played someone else. Rather than waste time on me.

It's just really bothering me because I dont like to be left hanging when I did nothing wrong. At least he could remain friends or something rather than drop me all together.

o yeah and about his personal life. He wanted to move away from his parents. He's was in school, but hes not at the moment. He can draw really good and does tattoos. I dont know anything about his relationship life.

From your last sentence it appears that his silence may actually have nothing to do with you, but rather some things he needs to work out in his life. Perhaps God put Him in the path of someone like you so that you could pray with Him, encourage Him and share the healing power that Christ can bring to a life. There are times when we will be drawn to a member of the opposite sex, and vice versa, and we think it is for a bf/gf relationship, but it is intended for something far greater.

You sound like a very wise young lady.

Wow thats exactly what I thought about too! I felt like I should be encouraging him because I don't think he has any encouraging people in his life. He's really lost spiritually and physically. What do you think I should do? Continue to send him encouraging text so he can know im there for him if he needs me.

At this point i dont care to date him anymore. I just want to help him find Christ more than anything and encourage him. What should I do??

I think you should continue to be his friend, pray for him and encourage him. I think you're on the right road, just be careful not to get too preachy. Might freak him out since he has so many other things on his plate right now. :) I wouldn't bombard him with texts, but sending one from time to time would be okay until you get the feeling you should stop or he asks you to.

He will either accept Christ or he won't. We can't make people do that, can we? :( We can only love them. The thing is that they will often accept Him down the road and we never know about it, though we will someday. :) So, even if you don't think he does/will, don't be discouraged.

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. I was taking a bit of a break from being online. :)

Amen than you for you help.! Yes, it seems he likes talking to me. So I will continue to and just be there for him hehe. Praying that he finds Christ which will be awesome!! Than you, I truly feel that the holy spirit has guide you to say this! Because it lined exactly up with what God placed on my heart to do, but I guess I needed to hear it verbally heheh :D

GOD BLESS

His wishy-washy-ness would be too hard to deal with in trying to have a relationship with him :0)

Juliana had really good advice.

But, considering my daughter's experience I'll put in a word of caution....don't get too intent on fixing a member of the opposite sex. There's some complex things going on when a Christian girl gets involved with a unChristian boy....just be careful about your motives and any signals that he may be misreading.

My daughter now has this mentally unstable neighbor boy stalking her occasionally. Very uncomfortable :(

I try talking to this guy, as a friend, but it seems he really isn't interested anymore. So i think im just gonna leave him alone. Sigh, I really DID want to continue being his friend though. I told him I'd call him around a certain time and he didnt answer nor did he return the call. And he didnt text at all to say anything. So I'm just gonna let him go on into life he wants.

I did the best I could. -__-

Is he a Christian? If not you don't want to end up unequally yoked... It's a recipe for relationship disaster in the end. And though it's very noble to want to stay in contact with someone just with the goal of preaching to them, just be careful that that is the true reason you want to be around them... Some people use that as an excuse just to be close to someone they are attracted too.. lol, sometimes people seem more "moved" to preach to an attractive stranger than they feel moved to preach to the homeless people in their town.
