The pain
inside my brain
The screams
they hurt the hatred
it stays
the words you say
they sting like whips
and cut like knives
they leave me
battered on the floor
lord my god raise me up
lift me
protect me
from this endless pain
stop the screaming
inside my brain
give me strength to walk again
for i can no longer crawl
Please dear lord wipe my tear
for in your presence i need not cry
if i have you i have no fear
i know you will guide me
help me stay on the path you paved
