He will most certainly be missed. I went to the obit, and added a comment in on the guest book.
He and I agreed on most things, and disagreed on a couple.... just like friends do.

I’m not sure if it’s possible for two people to agree 100% on everything but I do agree with you @shittim 100% deeply loved the Lord and served to the very end.
I pray all of us continue to seek the Lord and reach the finish line in absolute obedience. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

sad to hear this. he was a follower of me. certainly, many conversations we enjoyed. we'll all see him in heaven. well, i suppose we all here on CC will think of another who has risen to heaven in his or her abode when we do not hear from someone. so you know now, if you don't hear from me in March, we are on vacation for 2 weeks in the caribbean. if there's a time you don't hear from me for a month or more, i rose to heaven also. enjoy the day everyone: Psalm 118:24- "today is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice & be glad in it"! oh, say a prayer for the elderly & hard to reach during this very cold snowy storm in the northeast. thank you.

I am saddened to share that through that search I learned that our brother Shittim has gone on to his Heavenly Home.
The online obituary shares that, at 74, he passed away in his home on November 24, 2025.

Goodbye my friend, we shall meet again soon.

Thank you for sharing. I had suspected, but it is nice to have confirmation. One of his posts a month or so prior was that he was looking forward to catching up with several friends who had gone on before him.

Shittim was one of the first to welcome me as a newbie. Someone who instinctively understood my rambling...

You've stepped into a finished work now, brother. See you when I'm further down that road. 🕊️
