I think it would be helpful to be able to get views on politics and science from this site as well as religious perspectives. Did I maybe over look these sections and where they are?

Also, maybe a section dedicated to atheistic and non-Christian people to make comments that aren't necessarily Biblical. The sight of a thread like that would probably draw their attention away from the Bible discussion thread, so as to keep the Bible discussion about Bible discussion.

You can move my Santa post to miscellaneous if you think it would be better suited there. I overlooked that thread until now.

I believe most of these have been suggested and refused by the site owner already.

A politics forum would only be another point of debate, which makes more work for the volunteer mods.

We're a Christian site, why would be dedicate sections to non-Christian views? In fact, one of the specific posted rules is that you cannot teach/preach any messages that goes against mainstream Christian beliefs, or to try to change Christians beliefs to such things. The Main purpose of this site if for Christian fellowship, and while others are welcome, catering to them is not the priority.
Also, this is not a debate site, so creating sections that would only encourage debate, and attract more people to join for the sake of debating, would go against the primary goal of this site.

I think that kinda defeats the purpose of this site.
