We can worship God imperfectly but we cannot worship Him insincerely.

Worship is bringing pleasure to God, that's what He deserves, so if you give Him that half-heartedley, its worthless. We can play games, fake things but as How God searches, we can never flee from it. He said He knows who are His, and if we know We are in Him, let's worship Him in spirit and in truth. With sincerity.
 
As the Lord Jesus said, as recorded in John chapter 4, real worship is 'in spirit and in truth' (as in your title also). Blessings.
 
Yeah. I wss just doing my quiet time and He revealed this to me cause sometimes I really give Him just the half and sometimes excess of my time. I felt bad but still thanks to Him, Ive learn a lot.
 
Making the Bible reading custom a daily thing without fail, and to do so prayerfully, is extremely important. If you get into it while you are young, it will stand you in good stead for later years. If you don't get into it now, it will be harder in later years.

I enjoyed John Piper's interview with Rick Warren; It was a good eye opener for me as to what Rick Warren believes. He is very inline with my reformed thinking. I have a whole new view of Rick Warren now, then I had after reading His book, Purpose driven life. I appreciate both men a lot. love to all, hoffco
