In what way(s) did Christ take our punishment for sin?

I thought it was pretty good up until about the 34 minute mark, give or take 15 seconds or so, where he quotes Romans 1:18-21 and incorrectly applies it. It applies to people who have been informed about the truth, but ignore it and continue in wickedness. It isn’t about people who have no idea what God’s will is. It’s actually about people who knew God; it’s about Christians.

Romans 1
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

There’s measure and balance with God’s wrath. It isn’t like God has only one switch that, once flipped, is either pure love or unfiltered wrath.

It’s like this:

Luke 12
47“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

And some other things toward the end were kinda off, but anyway it was pretty good and I wouldn’t be ashamed to share it with others.

You are so totally confused about everything that it is not even funny. "Assuming Christ did take our punishment" means that you do not believe God or Christ or the Bible. So you are actually an unbeliever.

The Gospel truth is that Christ paid THE FULL PENALTY for the sins of the whole world.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement [PENALTY] of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all... Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. (Isaiah 53:5,6,10,11 and the entire chapter) This chapter also refutes the Calvinistic nonsense that Christ died only for the so-called "elect", which makes God a liar.

Christians should understand that Satan hates the Gospel and does everything in his power to undermine the Gospel. Unbelieving Jews, and unbelieving Muslims, and all unbelievers deny that Christ died for our sins and rose again for our justification. But Isaiah was writing about the crucifixion of Christ about 600 years before it happened. David wrote about the crucifixion about 1,000 years before it happened. And God had already seen the crucifixion in His divine foreknowledge even before He created this universe.

1 PETER 1: CRUCIFIXION FOREORDAINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Actually everything I believe has full scriptural support. So you don’t know me or know what you’re taking about.

Christ didn’t take our penalty the way mainstream Protestant Christianity understands it. Christ didn’t go to hell and experience eternal conscious torment, he didn’t go to the great white throne judgement, but rather what happened is he was punished because of us, not in our place, because he agreed with his Father to do it. The passage you quoted from Isaiah proves it.
