God has sovereign authority over all creation, not just the portion that has submitted.
That's right. Exemplified in the fact that those who do not sue for peace NOW get the courtroom and a summary judgement.
Their choice. Free will is God's primary mandate for man. And the angelic host as well. The fallen and unfallen angels
made a CHOICE to either serve or rebel.

Gen 2:16
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Rev 21:6
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

You spend an awful lot of time arguing against things you agree with.

God's sovereignty is never impinged upon by the choices of people. No covenant alters that.
So you are saying that the Holy God rapes virgins as he pleases like Zeus is said to do?

Rev 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

You are the one who likened God's behavior as tyrannical and unseemly. Those are your depictions of God, not mine.
My argument is that God's choices are best. Don't assign to me the emanations of your heart.

38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.
there is her submission to God.
God, and Messengers, always show up, give the message, and we decide at that point to do it.
Also, God, would not choose those who would say, No.
He knew Mary would be willing.
But, she, had to be willing for herself.
she was as Verse 38 indicates :)

It's interesting how this topic has evolved after 40 pages.

In this case, i agree with my conspiracy theorist friend CV5 here. God has given us free will so Mary accepted in humility because she loved God already.

Free will is an important factor of our existence. THE most important. Because of free will we are in this fallen state away from the physical presence of God.

it's amazing how many things that took place in the Garden, that relates to the birth of Christ and how it came to be, Crucifixion/Death/Burial/Resurrection, and also from the immediate issues in Genesis 6 and 12, Deuteronomy, Psalms, 2 Peter, Paul, Jude, John mention. and all of this began just a short time after Adam was Created.

in terms of the issue would God rape to ensure His Ultimate will be Done.

NO!

But God has made sure a hardened heart got harder, sent a lying spirit to the king of Israel so he would believe a lie and die, give Satan freedom to deceive Eve, and will use the Beast to apply a lot of punishment to those who Deny God. And let's not forget Job. that was basically a BET between God and Satan that Job would remain Faithful. Gambling, even though the odds were guaranteed in God's Sovereign Favor.

But in all of those things, God, outside of Job, that is an all together different connection to how God did things. Even to Pharaoh, God used Moses to offer Pharaoh Peace and Surrender but Pharaoh chose. Even to the king of Israel, God, sent His prophet and warned many times before finally saying enough is enough. and in the Garden, between Satan and Eve, God, was making a Reason and Purpose for bringing us Our Messiah.

So, even when we see God do things that seem wrong, if we study, we see He was justified every time.

even in Job, God, was justified.
look what Job received in life and no doubt his Eternal Reward will be Amazing!

It must be a bummer to expend one's life in the unseemly endeavor of covering up beautiful flowers and lovely pearls by heaping upon them piles of stinky manure so that their glory may not be seen by others.

I think this is a classic example of projection. But as is always been the case in our discourse, you leave the arena of ideas and begin a personal denigration. So I'll wish you a blessed day.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out buddy.

And never forget: there are these things called "online bibles" whereby you can actually copy, paste and then post these things called "scriptures" and "passages" by which you may bolster the faith of others.

Mary was not asked for permission ... she was told.
i assume this is where this conversation started about Rape.

Your Quote, is this how You were taught, or when You read it see this was what took place?

You are Correct, She, Mary, was not asked for Permission. She was given a Message, and then Responded to it. and WE ALL are Grateful for her Submission to Our God!

So the question remains unanswered by both you and @Cameron143 :

Did Holy God violate the free will of Mary and impose upon her His will without consent? In effect a case of raping a virgin?

Yes or no?

Hiding behind a smokescreen of psycho-bafflegab will just not do in this case.

My resolute position is that Mary gave consent of course.

i think of Mary like with a Boss:

Your Boss calls you into the Office.
Closes the Door.
orders You to sit down.
begins talking about Issues.
things you have some idea about but not your general area of concern.
then says, i need you to fix this.
you will become Lead over these 4 departments.
you start tomorrow.
Do You want the Job?

I need you to give 20 dollars to that person and say, God loves them.
what?
You heard me.
Ok!

You should read post #815. The question never was if Mary was forced, but, rather, was she asked or told. No one here beside yourself said God forced His will on her. That was the product of your imagination.
The_Watchers_2017 has admitted that Magenta was correct. Perhaps you may as well.
