Inheritance

We have been given all that we need
To live godly lives in this world.
His Spirit is greater than any evil
But on His flesh and blood we must feed

Self lies to us every day if we give ear
So cast out those thoughts by His Words
A battle that Jesus has already won for us
Perfect love casts out all fear.

Holiness - our way, we sit, walk and stand
A progress in patience now seen
The glory enlarges our spiritual nature
His power reigns out in our land.

So take of the bread, and drink of the cup
Remembering His death till He comes
His will that He left is now being read
eyes opening wide as we sup..

He's risen! is our shout! banners now being raised!
His body is clothed in white light
His purposes branded in minds of renewal
And we now are poised to take flight!
