while back I was searching youtube for vids of other amputees and how they adjust to the loss.
I ran across some clips of dog amputees. This dog lost both legs on his left side. The clip speaks
for itself. The dog appears to say "Hmmm. Ok, so this is my new normal. I'll adjust and adapt and
move along". Dogs are amazingly resilient.
There are also vids of dogs that lost both front legs or both rear legs that seem to have the
same attitude

There is also this guy from down under. He lost His right arm at the shoulder and left leg at the hip
in a street accident. (drunk driver sideswipe) He made a comeback to racing with some custom alterations
to his bike and was very competitive. He chose the number 1/2 for his bike.
In talking with the guys and gals I photographed at different tracks, most - about 60% - do not ride on
the street anymore. It is safer on the track at 190mph than on any street.
