Shown is Alan Kemptser. He was an australian motorcycle racer. He rode the streets as well as the track. In 1999 he was sideswiped by a drunk driver on his left side loosing his arm at the socket and leg a few inches from this hip socket. He made a come back despite his injuries and raced competitively for several years. Even winning some races. He passed away in 2018 from something non bike related. There are several videos online of him racing and working on his bike.

The throttle was moved to the left handlebar. Clutch stayed as is. The front brake lever was changed to a slide button.
He needed assistance only when stopping in the pits.

I did not take these shots.

Let's remember the beauty of simple things - like a tomato bloom
Beautiful one in a simple way, the other refuses to give up!

I recently saw this young man online signing to the Christian music my kids listen to and was intrigued.
I think American Sign Language (ASL) is beautiful, but when I see it done to worship it is just leaves me in awe.
He was born deaf. He had a personal AH-HA moment with Jesus (I think he shares a little of that in this video). Now, he is reaching out, sharing the gospel in the deaf community via sign language.

Copied from the text under the video:
(I posted the video further below)

This is the most honest video I’ve ever made.

For years I wrestled with the question:
“Why did God make me Deaf?”
And that question dragged me into places of confusion, depression, low self-worth, and moments where I genuinely believed God couldn’t use me.

But nothing in my circumstances changed…
What changed was my perspective.
How I viewed God.
And how I viewed myself through the way He sees me.

In this video, I’m sharing the full story — the fears, the frustration, the anger, the questions, and the moment God finally shifted my heart. This isn’t a polished speech. It’s not a sermon. It’s just me being real about my journey, my deafness, my faith, and the purpose God has been writing into my life from the beginning.

If you’ve ever wondered why you are the way you are…
If you’ve ever questioned God’s design for you…
If you’ve ever felt broken, confused, overlooked, or misunderstood…

I hope this speaks straight to your heart.

God doesn’t make mistakes.
Not with your story.
Not with your identity.
Not with your disability.
Not with your purpose.

You are not an accident. You are intentional. You are designed. You are known.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for listening.
And thank you for letting me share something this personal.

pause.jpg

Practice the pause… Before you react. Before you speak. Before you carry it any further. Pause… and bring it to God. In the stillness, clarity comes. In the quiet, peace returns. In the pause, God meets you. “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
