It's not the physical Jerusalem I'm talking about, nor the physical Babylon.
Its the spiritual makeup of the fallen planet. Many Jews made their way back to Jerusalem, God's city, after 70' years stuck in pagan Babylon. It's an analogy.
The spirit and thinkology of the visible 'church' is in many ways corrupt. Patterned after Babylon's power structure like I already submitted. We are not suppose to do as the world(cosmos) where pride reigns supreme in the heart of man. The fall came when the first 2 decided they wanted to know good and evil as gods. Arrogance.
Note: many TV preachers now teach that we are 'gods' not simply in the since that we have the capacity to lord it over others' but that we are literally gods now. Satan lied to the first 2 about becoming gods, as the cult Mormonism has always taught, but now the deceptive wolves at large teach the same thing.......for cash...of course!
Sorry for being long winded but this thing is deep. Like the reference of 'coming out of Egypt' is applied to salvation, coming out of the world. Not literally Egypt. Hope this helps. Hard to make this crystal clear by typing.

I think you are way... overthinking things. The reality of things in God's Word are much more simple.
Of course the idea of coming out of Babylon can have a spiritual connotation, if you give it one; but that approach is usually the default for someone who doesn't understand what the Babylon harlot of Revelation is actually about.
Jerusalem was originally a pagan city (Jebus) of the Canaanites until God gave Israel to conquer it and made it His Own (Ezekiel 16). God chose to put His Name in Jerusalem forever. The area of Sumer-Babylon was the birthplace of paganism. God's people in Jerusalem fell to pagan idol worship. So God compared Jerusalem to a prostitute, a harlot, because of that falling away like a married wife does with cheating on her husband. Our Heavenly Father actually used those prostitute and adultery kind of comparisons in His Word to get this idea across of how He feels about Jerusalem and His people in pagan idol worship.
Per Revelation and the Book of Daniel, one of the main events to occur for the end is... idol worship in Jerusalem (Rev.13). Those who say the "abomination of desolation" event prophesied for Jerusalem is already past history are telling lies to try and get God's people off track of what is getting ready to occur in today's Jerusalem in our not so distant future. All the signs God gave in His Word about it are leading up to it. God is allowing this to occur to see who has listened to Him in His Word or not, because He clearly warned His servants about it.
The pagan Canaanites want Jerusalem back. It has been sieged 27 times in history and is to be under siege one final time, for the end just prior to Christ's second coming. Because the unbelieving Jews there still reject Christ Jesus as Messiah, they plan to re-establish old covenant worship there again once another temple is rebuilt. They have for years now already had the materials ready to do just that. What's holding them back are the controls by the world leaders through international bodies like the U.N. who plan to use Jerusalem to setup their world king once their world government if fully established. To those Jews this world king will be the Messiah, they will think, the "another beast" of Rev.13:11 that will cause an "image of the beast" to be setup in idol worship, and all commanded to bow in worship to it (which is the "abomination of desolation" spoken of in the Book of Daniel for the end).
It will then... at that time... when Jerusalem will be manifested as the harlot city of Rev.17, for we are specifically told the "woman" of Rev.17 is a city:
Rev 17:1818 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

It will be at that time in our near future when the idea you speak of coming out of Babylon
spiritually, will apply. The whole world will be subject to the reign of that false messiah ruling from Jerusalem and commanded to do idol worship, but Jesus is coming to destroy that on the day of His coming (day of The Lord timing). Thus the idea of coming out of Babylon simply means refusing to bow in false idol to the beast or his image, and refusing his mark that he will establish per Rev.13. That specific time has NOT come yet today, but it is near.
Our OT comparison to this is with the days of Daniel the prophet in captivity in historical Babylon. God told the house of Judah at Jerusalem to go peacefully into captivity to Babylon, told them it would last 70 years, and that He would take care of them there. That He did, they prospered and multiplied in numbers, built houses, planted vineyards, etc. They had it so good in Babylon that the majority of them chose to stay in Babylon after the 70 years when they were allowed to go back to Jerusalem! But the deciding factor involving idol worship came when Nebuchadnezzar's prophets sought a way to trap God's people into worshiping the king of Babylon instead of God. They caused Neb to make a golden idol and issue a decree for everyone to bow in worship to the idol at the sound of psalter, and those who refused were to be killed. This is when Daniel and his fellows that refused were delivered up and sentenced to death. And that was when God stepped in and intervened. That is our blueprint for this coming false messiah to Jerusalem and the "image of the beast" idol worship he will institute upon all nations and peoples for the very end.
So not only did our Heavenly Father through His Son warn us directly in His Word about this coming event for the end, He also gave us the blueprint of Daniel's days captive to Babylon as an example. The 70 years Babylon captivity is symbolic for the 7 years time of "great tribulation" per Dan.9 ("one week"). Daniel was to be presented to the king of Babylon after 3 years and was offered the king's meat and wine, while Daniel instead chose to eat pace and drink water, which is symbolic of the opposite kind of strong meat and symbolic waters of Christ. The hot fiery furnace heated 7 times hotter than necessary that Daniel's fellows were cast into with Christ appearing in the fire with them and no harm coming to them, represents the day of Christ's second coming and God's consuming fire upon the earth to destroy man's works.
